We were just looking for a nice dinner and this ended up being the best part of our trip to Jacksonville!!! Best true Italian food ever and great service! Strongly recommend! We loved the owner/manager (think it was Freddie) and our server (Angela we think) was awesome too! If we can squeeze in another dinner, we will be there. This is a must do if in the area!
So disappointed, they’re never open during business hours. For some reason they always close early, yesterday I walked a long way to eat there because the guy was so nice. I opened the door, but received a phone call so I decided to take the call outside. Five minutes later, I went back to open the door and they (closed ) locked the door on me so I was forced to spend money at a restaurant that I didn’t want. This is the fourth time since the first time I’ve been there that they’ve closed early. The first time, I had to select from pizza that sat there all day. I’m extremely disappointed, I won’t be going back. Don’t waste your time coming here.

They don’t let you order from the menu. You have to order from a limited selection of cold food that has been sitting there for hours. The food tasted terrible. You are better off going to McDonald’s.

I decided to try Casa Dora before I head over to the Florida Theater to see Grupo Niche. My goodness the food was beautiful and delicious. The atmosphere is so relaxing and the staff is friendly.

The food is authentic Italian perfection. The pizza is delicious and the crust is so good it can be eaten on its own like bread. The guy that runs and owns the joint is very appreciative of his customers and is very nice.
The food was fresh, flavorful and the service was quick and accurate. We stopped in prior to see Chris Botti for a pre-show dinner so the meals were predetermined and a quick grab and sit down style. The owner was very accommodating and willing to mix it up when asked if the entree desired wasn't in the lineup. We enjoyed our meals and then headed straight the Florida theater. Highly recommend, especially if you're heading to a show!

Ordered a large cheese pizza for dinner for pickup. Said online it was only $12 on multiple sources. I call and order and they just say ok 20 minutes. I arrive and the pizza was $20! It was cold and definitely not good pizza. Save your money and time. Although they are a small business being in downtown Jacksonville they should have a little bit higher standards. And also need to update their menu because they’re baiting people into buying their outrageously priced food for the quality. I won’t be back and recommend if you’re gonna spend $20 mine as well go out to eat at a sit down restaurant worth going to.

Meeeh.. food was alright. Pasta was a little too sour and the fried zucchini in the combo basket was bland. Giving some stars for the mozzarella sticks, they were actually good. Service pretty bad. Waited for like 30 minutes to order anything after water (they also charge for water cups). Just in general waited a long time for service. Wouldn't really recommend..
