The food was a bit better than okay, but I felt rushed when ordering. I was my first time at the restaurant, and right when I sat down, the owner asked if I was ready to order. In the middle of explaining, I just sat down and never been here. He seemed to be frustrated and turned away. The waitresses were amazing and sweet. Shout out to them!
I've posted before regarding Casa Leon but I truly LOVE this place! I'm a born and raised Californian, not San Diego. A true Californian and you can't get any more authentic than this place. I base my opinions of a Mexican restaurant on rice and beans, if you can't get those right, you can't get anything right but Casa Leon never disappoints. The owner is friendly as is the staff. Definitely a restaurant to try!
This was the best Mexican food that we have ever had. The food was very flavorful. The portions were large. The staff were amazing. If you are looking for a great meal this is the place.
