Our server was Nicole C. ; she was rather brash, and I just assumed she was having a rough day or whatever. But she barely came to our table, was really rough with the dishes. We were celebrating my sister's birthday and she's kinda of a coffeeholic. She asked for maybe 3 re-fills on the last one Nicole rolled her eyes and sad "Jesus" - super rude. The food was okay, its definitely not worth being treated like an inconvenience. Not for a paying customer, the entrees are not cheap. For the price might as well go to Josephine in Avondale, you will be treated like a human over there.

Terrible service. I went in to dine in and the minute we ordered our food our server kept rolling her eyes and kept showing us a nasty attitude. She rudely kept snatching the plates from our table. Funny thing is we barely asked for anything, the most I asked was for a glass of water. When I asked for a refill, she rolled her eyes again and said "more...Jesus!". Honestly I'm disgusted by this treatment and suprised that the management allows this. After this sort of behavior, we didn't even feel like ordering desert...we just wanted to leave after we were done with our entree.I'm certainly never going to set foot at this location again, but my advise to the management would be to please train your servers to learn what customer service is (or hire better servers who are capable of doing this job..b/c this is unacceptable ).

My husband and I recently dined at Catullo’s Italian Restaurant, and unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired. The service was mediocre, and the food quality was disappointing. They served room-temperature bread accompanied by plain olive oil on a small square plate—no seasoning, no butter, just the oil.
Our table was uncomfortably close to the serving area, where staff retrieved food and discarded dirty napkins, which were casually tossed onto the floor and kicked under a station holding dirty dishes.
The tomato sauce used in the dishes was very dark and overly rich—uncharacteristic of Northern or Sicilian Italian cuisine. The menu lacked standard Italian dishes and instead focused on unique creations that ultimately fell flat in flavor and quality. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

Everything about Catullo's lived up to my expectations... the food was delicious and the service impeccable. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and their knowledge of the food and bar menus was impressive. Recently moving to Jacksonville I was in the hunt for clams, and this dish did not disappoint. Get yourself to Catullo's!

Why should you come? The meals were without reason the best. The cozy atmosphere explains the truest meaning of authentic dining. Our drinks were amazing, and our appetitizers were great.. our main meals were conquering with flavor and jazz. Thank you for a great experience.

Loud and crowded with over an hour wait but great and friendly atmosphere. Was not impressed by menu choices or food but I definitely want to give it another shot and will try to remember to come back and update.

Was so excited to try this place after reading all the reviews but was left extremely disappointed. We waited about an hour an 10 mins to be seated (not a problem, we we knew we would be waiting based on reviews). We started with the arancini to start and it was okay. The inside was cold, which was extremely disappointing since you would bite into a big piece of cold cheese. Pasta dishes were okay, nothing to right home about. The gnocchi was very garlicky, and seemed to be the only flavor you could taste in the dish. The most disappointing part was the service. Our server barely came over to us during the course of the dinner and when we asked other workers for items/stuff we never received them. There seemed to be numerous workers checking in on other tables, but besides someone to refill our water we were left pretty ignored for most of the night. Food took a while to come out and overall we were just left disappointed. This place is not worth the 1+ hr wait for the mediocre food and poor service

Ryan and AJ are both Rockstars and our first experience was everything we have been hearing and more. I’ve been hearing the hype for years and finally made it over to see for myself. I will definitely add this to date night and we will be back soon. I wish I could give more stars.

Catullo’s is a hidden gem here in Jax. From the moment you step in the door one can smell the fresh and aromatic dishes being prepared and instantly served to hungry customers. My girlfriend and I payed a visit for our anniversary. We walked in starving and left stuffed and satisfied. I ordered a plate of fresh tortellini that was lusciously covered in simmering hot peposo, while my girlfriend opted for the mayport shrimp rosato. Everything was exquisite.
Catullo’s is a heavenly slice of Italy in Jacksonville.

Read all the wonderful reviews so gave it a try. Went early as read there are always lines. Yup! Not early enough, so we sat at the bar which was perfect! The bar tender Scott was amazing, friendly, attentive and fun! Kept our wine glasses full! Food was fantastic! We were having such a great time I didn’t take any pictures until after. We’ll be back!! Highly recommend!

My dinner came out to be 35.00
I tipped the waiter 10.00
That equals 45
55.61 cleared my bank! Someone gave themselves an extra 10 tipped!
