Companies have to stop using these QR code. I was we can use the QR CODE to pay the was charge. And then was told I didn’t go through and I had to pay again. If I’m heading on vacation because this is airport location why would this even be an option if he does work. Then they say it’s take up to 24 hrs to get back to my account. When it took two seconds to take my money out. Manager was not helpful and just repeating something that sounds like a program. I’m always at Jax but will never visit this Chili’s again. Just horrible. My server was great. Very attentive. but everything else including the manager was horrible. I love sugar but the waffles were too sweet. Do better.

Music was hard rock and so loud. No one could change or turn it down. Don’t get me wrong, I love some Ozzy, but this didn’t seem like the place for it. But you do what you have to when there isn’t anywhere else opened on a Sunday night. lol

Hostess wouldn’t even acknowledge us standing and waiting for a table. When she finally makes her way to the front she doesn’t make eye contact, doesn’t apologize for the wait and then says she’ll be with us in a few minutes and walks away. So… I walked away!

I typically don’t write reviews unless my dining experience is exceptional, but given the current economic climate, I felt compelled to share this one. I prefer to simply move on from a bad dining experience without leaving a negative review—I just choose not to return.

But spending $40—before tip—on a disappointing meal and poor service is frustrating.

This morning, at around 7:30 AM, my four colleagues and I stopped at Chili’s in Jacksonville Airport for breakfast. Unfortunately, the experience was far from pleasant. Perhaps they feel secure in their terminal location with a captive audience, but I won’t be returning.

The service was abysmal. I had to request basic utensils well after our food had arrived. I ordered an extra side, which was delivered only after I had finished my meal—and only because I followed up on it. The food lacked the care and quality you’d expect, making the high price even harder to justify.

In these tight economic times, spending $40 (before tip) on a subpar experience is unacceptable. I’d strongly recommend trying one of the other restaurants in the airport—even a simple grab-and-go sandwich would have been a better choice.

If it had just been my experience, I might have given them the benefit of the doubt, but all five of us had the same disappointing encounter. That says something. Hopefully, they take this feedback to heart and work on improving both service and food quality.

Was met/sat by a rude hostess who was distracted and on her phone. Was sat to a dirty table with food/water on it and still had the last persons glass on it. Our waitress was very kind and friendly, but that’s about it. Ordered some fried mozzarella, took over a half hour to come out and when they finally did the bottom of two of them were un-fried and soggy.
