This is definitely a top 5 Chinese place for me in terms of food. The lo mein was soft and had all the Oriental flavors you would hope for. The general tso chicken had the perfect amount of sauce and tasted like a grandma's fresh spice cabinet.
Why am I not giving this five stars? Well, it comes down to two things.
First overall, the lady at the register. Initially, I thought she was rude but eventually got the sense of a stifling ego.
Yes, I get it. You may have the best Chinese food in Jacksonville. However, that is not an excuse to be flamingly arrogant.
Despite the exceptional quality, the food was still overpriced. $25 for both a general tso chicken combo and quart of lo mein is a bit much.
I will still go next time I go to Jacksonville. The food is way too good to deny.
However, I can see why the lady's attitude and food prices would deter prospective customers.

I called to order a small veggie lo mein and a small egg drop soup because this was my first visit and I didn’t want to waste my money. They only have large everything and avoided sharing that information over the phone. The worker also avoided sharing my total price with me over the phone and in retrospect I’ve never ordered from a Chinese restaurant and didn’t get the total amount due after placing an order. I didn’t like the price or the presentation but I paid anyway. I’ll never go here again. Trash. Everything in the lo mein was barely cooked at all. And the egg drop soup was almost boiling. Never again

On 9/28/25 I ordered 3 cheesesteak egg rolls and wonton soup. The egg rolls were so oily that the oil dripped all over my pants and the wonton soup tasted old and freezer burned. I called and the girl said the reason for the grease was because they were very busy and didn’t let it drain off and she had no excuse for the reason the soup tasted they way it did. They are falling off with their food.
Food poisoning the first time. Horrible, im still sick day 3. Should be inspected. From food to the surface and utensils used. Probably roaches and rats there, God knows what. If you have a restaurant please focus on cleanlines cuz im am still sick

We found China Dragon on Google Maps after reading other customers’ reviews, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The service was very friendly, attentive, and patient in explaining all the options. We ordered the Kung Pao Shrimp (large size), which turned out to be excellent in quality and great value for money.
The portions are really generous — we ordered one large per person, but one would have been more than enough for two people. In the end, we even took the leftovers home in a take-out box.
Highly recommend the experience!

Major disappointment, general tso’s chicken is bland, barely covered in any sauce dry to the touch and chewy but at least it’s warm lol. Crab Rangoon taste a little off, yes it’s stuffed full of Krab but you can’t tell it’s Krab and not real crab, the Krab meat was very stringy and just off putting all around and I usually love Krab Rangoon even if it’s not made with real crab. Definitely won’t be coming back :/
