Actually did not get to eat.That's the main problem that made us so upset.We were not from the area at all we were visiting friends in St. John's Florida, which is in between Jacksonville and St. Augustine. Florida. We were all real hungry. And we decided we wanted Chinese. Someone recommended China house in St. John's. We looked it up on Google and sure enough. There was a China house in St. John's close to where our friends lived. And then there was one in Jacksonville. The number I called was the facility. The store in St. John's put an order in. Everything went fine. They said, when do you want it delivered? And we sent between 6 and 615 that evening. Well, lo and behold about an hour later. I get a text on my phone from the delivery driver. Telling me that he canceled our order. Because he did not come that far. So I called China house back. They told us that they were in Jacksonville, and that's why the delivery driver did not deliver the food they had to contract out delivery drivers because they were very busy and where my friends lived was out of their range for delivery. So they called someone to deliver it, lo and behold. The delivery person decided not to come that far and deliver it. He said it was out of his range, so we were treated very poorly and so unprofessional. The owner texts me that evening later on. And told me that he would give us a 50% discount off on our next order. Well, I messaged him back and told him that he was getting bad reviews on it. Every social platform that I could find and that I did not want his fifty percent discount.Don't go to china house.Furthermore, don't ever order from them because they might not deliver it to wherever you live so much for delivery

I’ve really tried to give this place a fair chance, understanding that every restaurant can have off days or different cooks. Unfortunately, every visit has been disappointing. The food consistently lacks quality particularly the egg rolls, which were extremely unpleasant. I’m not saying this to be harsh, but to be honest, I simply cannot recommend this restaurant.
Beyond the food, the service has also been poor. The woman at the counter has been consistently rude, which makes the overall experience even less enjoyable. In my opinion, great food often comes from people who take pride and joy in what they do and sadly, that energy is missing here.

I don’t know why some people give this place only one star. Today I visited five different Chinese restaurants, and this one is probably number one. Excellent service, a very kind lady served me, and the food was truly delicious—you feel like you’re in a cozy Chinese home. Everything is fresh and tasty, and I’ll definitely be coming back next week

Such a great spot, 10 out of 10!!! The woman at the front is one of the sweetest and hard working lady. She makes you feel so welcome the second you walk in. The service here is always friendly and quick, and the food is fantastic. Every dish we tried was fresh and flavorful. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat!

Soup not same as last time. Purchased house lo mein and all chicken, little steps of pork, a piece of beef I think, and one lost shrimp. I'm homeless and this is my one goto I count on and can eat a couple times from order. Disappointed

The food quality was not good. I got the beef and broccoli with fried rice - the rice tasted spoiled and the beef was very tough and slimy. I do not recommend.

This place is so nasty, egg roll tased like the frozen ones from out walmart, ckn fried rice had the whitest weird looking meat. I could only eat the rice and it was mid at best. DONT EAT HERE!
