Ordered some curry chicken with cabbage payed 7/8 mins later they say they don’t have cabbage so I wanted refund cause I payed for cabbage not plantain payed on card they said it will be back on card in 2/3 days never got it.. if u couldn’t do refund it would be nice to know instead of making up shit telling the customer/me what I wanna here just to solve a situation 🤷🏽♂️

I’m not an expert on Jamaican cuisine by no means, but I DO have tastebuds and the flavors at ChoppinCoppin are def worth a try.
I got a Medium Oxtails entree (~$22) that came with tender, meaty oxtail pieces in a rich, flavorful brothy sauce and I opted for the white rice ( + beans) and plantains. I believe the other options are rice with black eyed peas and the other side you can get are steamed veggies/cabbage.
I took this to-go to eat at work and this dish made me feel like I was in a friend’s living room and eating a wonderful homecooked meal.
Another plus is that the folks who run this place are just as warm and nice as the food they serve. Lovely people!!!!
Note for people who wanna eat inside, this joint only really has maybe 10-12 bar seats if you wanted to dine-in and the parking spaces are limited (maybe 10 at most +5 extra spaces if you park on the random grassy areas), but don’t let that deter you from trying out their delicious food!
Def coming back to try out their Jerk Chicken next!

Honestly I ordered the wrong thing . The jerk ribs were entirely too spicy for me and it was mild that’s my fault but what wasn’t my fault the cabbage was not cooked enough it tasted raw . I will try again but not the jerk or cabbage.

Everything about this place is a win! The jerk chicken with rice and peas along side of the steamed cabbage was amazing. This place is the real deal. I will be back quite often and bringing my family with me next time. Stay real and don't change.
