Chow's Country Buffet

I come here often but today I brought my daughter here for our lunch date. She went to get the spring roll and we were discussing what’s in them upon her opening it she notice hair in the string part she moved it around to make sure. So I told her to make the waitress aware and the waitress looked at her and her hair like she put it in there. My daughter has curly hair the texture is no where the same. She said just a minute she was getting someone and never came back. Upon check out I informed the owner and he only said we buy from suppliers we don’t make. He didn’t apologize or take any ownership. I will not be returning anymore. Just be careful if you decide to eat there.

I love EVERYTHING about this place. Food is always fresh anytime of day. Staff very attentive. I drive 45 minutes to this buffet passing two other ones.

I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience at Chows Country Buffet.

After I told the hostess my daughter’s age, she flat-out said she did not believe me. I even offered to show my daughter’s birth certificate, and instead of accepting that, she continued to question my honesty simply because my daughter is tall. My daughter is tall because her father is 7 feet tall and she takes after him. Height does not determine a child’s age, and implying that I was lying about my own child was disrespectful and unacceptable.

The situation felt discriminatory and extremely uncomfortable. Asians are not built the same as Americans, and the way we were treated made us feel judged and singled out. What should have been a happy outing to celebrate my son’s birthday was completely ruined by this interaction.

We came to enjoy a family meal, not to be interrogated or embarrassed. Because of this experience, I will never return to this restaurant and will not recommend it to anyone.

I was here 1 year ago and wrote this review. This is the best buffet I've been to. There are so many options. Food is always fresh. They should really consider getting the guest wifi fixed so guests can use it. What's the point of having it and not letting us use it?
1-20-26 update. Food tonight was old and dried out. Yet they gonna charge full price all to save a penny on food not getting thrown out. 6 pm the food should have been fresh and ready to go. However this is just a couple pics I got which Cleary shows old dried out. And NO that is NOT baked mac n cheese, that's all day dried out. Shameful!!! Have some pride.

One time at the Asian buffet on Thanksgiving 2024 I got scolded for messing up all their food they just worked on I ignored her when she scolded me she was so upset lol 🤣😂😅🙈🙉🙊🤭🙅🏻‍♀️💁🏻‍♀️next thing i know she bump me and blocked my walk space 🌌 with out politeness lol 🤣 savage 😉😏😂🤣😅😊🤳🏼🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️💁🏻‍♀️🙅🏻‍♀️😅 so I was like hi 💀

This is the worst buffet I have ever eaten too in my life. All of their food is cold and old on the buffet. They keep reheating food over again. Nasty unclean food. Eat at your own risk.

I was pleasantly surprised by the variety. I would have loved more traditionally made Asian Dishes and less American Chinese. Everything I tried excluding the sushi was well seasoned and fresh. I was highly disappointed with the sushi. So for me I stopped after the 2nd piece. I will be going back for another round.

Most of the food is bland and overcooked. Most seems to be frozen store bought, Alot of the workers constantly stand in your way everywere the spoons dont seem to be cleaned the only decent thing is the sushi and kimchi

I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Tables cleaned quickly, food pretty well stocked. It was super busy but they handled it well. Definitely will visit for my future buffet cravings!

Restaurant is open until 10:30 but at 9 when we walked in they quit re stocking the bar and started closing down. No more fresh food was put out, not even rice. We didn’t get what we wanted and what we had was soggy and not good at all
