It’s great place near beach but foods itself not amazing as I was told. I would rather eat Junior Seafood in Callahan than this place. I can’t chew gator tails, used oil (can taste dirty fry oil), I would not recommend anyone to come here unless they are starving badly and can’t wait more than 15 mins out of area to have more options then go ahead grab something simple.

A hidden gem in Jacksonville! Great place for a cold beer and a fish sandwich. You can eat inside or outside at the picnic tables on the water. I have never ordered something I didn’t like from this restaurant. Worth the drive if you don’t live on the north side!

Best chowder! We ordered a fried flounder sandwich & a red fish grilled sandwich! Fried to perfection & piping hot! Don’t forget the Cajun sauce! Great service! Can’t wait to return.

Coming from Mississippi I still make the drive to eat here multiple times a month. Everything is amazing from the staff to the chef and food.

Love the food and the reasonable prices. Best place to eat on Heckscher Drive and in this part of town. Been coming here for great fish and seafood since 1999!!! Often stop to pick up lunch or dinner and take home. Besides dining inside.
