100 percent going back. Had a very BAD very rough day yesterday, and mine and my family's souls are exhausted. In no way are we done, far from it, as my husband has stage 4 melanoma (skin cancer) and we found out yesterday the treatments aren't working. Surgery (an extensive amputation of arm and ribs and that's not all) is his only option. With the surgery date looming over us, we decided to celebrate my birthday early, and try a new place. So we tried Church's on Dunn avenue. The service was friendly, helpful, and we were treated to a HUGE smile from the drive through young lady. She recommended the mash taters and the okra, and omg, we are so glad we took her advice! Fresh, hot, not greasy! Delicious! The chicken was out of this world, hot, crisp in all the right places, and thoroughly cooked to juicy perfection! My favorite part of the meal however, was the honey biscuit that I was NOT expecting! and to wash it all down, we got the half gal of sweet tea, and it was just like my grandma used to make. I am so happy I chose chicken tonight! So just in case you see this drive through lady, thank you from the bottom of my weary heart.
This place was super clean the staff was amazing. I just quite frankly did not care for the food or else I would have given it a five star.

I don't eat here often, but if you've not had the smokehouse chicken, you must try it. It is delicious. And out of all the places I get apple pies, theirs is the best to me.

Was told that only thighs were up on spicy but I got to the window to pay it was changed to 7 minutes on spicy, when asked if a courtesy drink could be given, The manager told the cashier after a very long pause, no since she advised me at the window after already waiting in line for over 15 minutes WOW, TO UNCONVINCING YOUR CUSTOMER ON VERY INCORRECT TIMES AND ON HAND INVENTORY.

Ordered a three piece white. The chicken was completely dry and very old. I have to go to work and cannot turn around to embarrass somebody who knew the chicken was old . 10/08/25 @ 6:18pm The manager fixed the chicken. The cashier took the order.

Everyone is always so qucik to leave negative reviews but I was raised to give credit when credit is due. Whoever made the Smokehouse chicken on 08/12/205 at 3pm needs a raise expeditiouly!!!. That was the best fried chicken ive ever had in Florida the skin was perfectly flaky but not crispy and it was exploding with juice. From the thigh, to the wing, even the breast was packed with flavor and super moist. 10/10 phenomenal job.
