As a Cooper’s Hawk wine club member, I was really looking forward to bringing my sister (who was visiting), my niece, and my daughter for their very first experience. I had talked up the restaurant quite a bit, and we were all excited—especially for the wine tasting, which did not disappoint. That part of the evening was truly enjoyable and set a great tone. Unfortunately, dinner didn’t meet the same standard. It took a long time just to place our order, and the wait for both our appetizer and entrees felt excessive. We had to follow up several times just to get a side salad, which was frustrating and made us feel like our table had been overlooked entirely. Despite being friendly and respectful throughout, it felt like we were more of a burden than welcome guests—both to our server and the management. To their credit, they did comp the $10 salad, which we appreciated—but on a $180 bill, it felt like a small gesture in light of the overall experience. I was honestly embarrassed after hyping the place up so much, especially with family visiting for the first time. I hope this was just an off night, but I left disappointed and not nearly as confident in recommending the restaurant as I used to be.
Sent this review to corporate I just dined at the restaurant. Party of 7 under Carlos for Daniel’s birthday. I recommended this restaurant because I’d always had a good time, but was sorely disappointed and regretted recommending it to the group. Our server kept us waiting for a long time before he came to the table. Even longer still to get waters and order. After that, we did order some cocktails and wine. The drinks took so long that the manager brought them out maybe 2 minutes before our food. We stopped a manager and asked for water refills, he forgot. Much of the food arrived cold. We stopped the same manager about 15 minutes after we got our food asking about the water, and let him know the potatoes for five people were cold. Other food was cold, but we didn’t have confidence if we complained anything would be done. He replaced the potatoes. Our server did not return the entire time until it was time for the check. We let him know how disappointed we were in the food and service. He said he would grab a manager, but never did. He did charge our cards during that 10 minutes we were waiting for the manager though. I worked in the restaurant industry for 10 years and it’s not often that I complain or do not tip, but we had a bad experience on multiple levels. I used to come here for wine tastings with friends often enough, but would not recommend this location anymore.
Decided to dine here last minute for my husband birthday! (The name of the restaurant caught my eye and our hotel was across the street) The place was packed when we walked in at 8:30. They were able to find us a reservation at 9:15. We were seated around 9:30 and our server Ariel was really great! The food and cocktails were good! My husband had the surf and turf and I had a chicken and sausage pasta! Even though we dined late, we still had a good experience. I’ll definitely return and try the wine on my next visit!

I don’t know how else to tell them that their service is going downhill. We have been members for a year, and it started off amazing. Over the past 2 months in our visits, we’ve noticed a dramatic decline in the speed and quality of service, both in the restaurant and when trying to check out. One time, we waited over 30 minutes for food and each part came out separately. Another time we had to go get our own drinks from the bar after waiting 20 minutes. A third, we waited 20 minutes to get the attention of a manager to get us a bill so we could leave. Yet another, we waited 15 minutes in line to purchase our wine club wine, and the cashier tried to let someone cut in the huge line waiting. I’m ready to cancel my membership, and have reached out to Cooper Hawk without much response. It used to be good. I hope one day it goes back to how it was.

I recently dined with a party of four, and while the food itself was absolutely delicious, the service we received was shockingly poor. At the start of the meal, the server asked one couple at the table for their appetizer order, took it, and then turned his back on the rest of us. He grabbed a dirty dish from a nearby table and walked away without even acknowledging us or taking our order. It took about 15 minutes to flag him down just to order our appetizers.
Unfortunately, the poor service continued throughout the meal. By the end of the evening, I felt incredibly aggravated—especially after spending $300 on the meal. Before leaving, I decided to share my experience with two young ladies at the front of the restaurant. They immediately urged me to wait, saying they would get the manager because “he really needs to hear this.”
When the manager arrived, I explained the situation, including who our server was. Rather than addressing the issue or offering any accommodation for the disappointing service, he simply said, “I’ve never received complaints about him before,” followed by a brief apology. That was it. No attempt was made to rectify the experience or show any genuine concern for how the service impacted our evening.
While the food was outstanding, the service and the manager’s dismissive response left me feeling frustrated and let down, especially after paying such a significant amount for what was supposed to be an enjoyable evening.
As much as I would like to return, I wouldn’t, because of the manager’s laissez-faire attitude.

I had the best experience at this restaurant. The food was Delicious! Our server, Selena, was Attentive and so Personable and the atmosphere was the best! I had the mushroom flatbread pizza to which I now have an addiction LOL!!! And the short rib grilled cheese sandwich with tomato bisque which is a must try. I also did the wine tasting and fell in Love with the “Romance Red” wine that I bought on site. I definitely recommend.

As someone who doesn't drink, I wasn't sure what to expect when I first visited Cooper's Hawk. However, the exceptional food and outstanding service made it such a memorable experience that I've returned several times since my initial visit. Good customer service is very important to me.

The food and drinks were AMAZING!!! We could have eaten multiple plates of the Brussel sprouts appetizer alone. The Ahi Tuna was perfect too. I got the Surf & Turf Special and it was absolutely delicious. There were four of us and we all loved our meals and it was one of the first times we have gone out to eat and no one had any remaining food to take home.
My only complaint is the seating. The booths are a pretty tight squeeze and you can't adjust the table at all, so if you are a little on the larger size then definitely request a table with chairs.
