I sat with Kim tonight and I genuinely enjoyed her presence, and the food was amazing!! My work family and I had buffalo egg rolls, spinach artichoke dip, chicken Parmesan pasta, the chicken & sweet potato mash, AND the white chocolate bread pudding + ice cream. Thank you for all of the recommendations Kim (ask for her when you come!)

Not sure if I was punked by the cooks but I really just wanted to sample the gumbo to see if I wanted to go there for my birthday. $8 for a cup of gumbo. Definitely would rather sample it first than to bring the family with high hopes. Looked like around 1/2 cup of rice and 1/2 cup of gumbo soup in separate to-go containers. Just found it odd there was no meat, just the soup. I also wanted to see if the family prefers mine or Copelands. I'll probably just keep making my own but thanks for the laugh.

Me & my family just came in 7 of us, 3 had steaks with all the topping of seafood on the steak. We could have had the steak plain though because omg, these steaks could melt in your mouth! Iv had this Chefs steaks here before and he never disappoints! ;medium rare) I can’t get over how tender and juicy our ribeyes were. The rest of the family were so happy with their food as well. On way home still making remarks.
The service was incredible, so helpful and kind. If you’re considering eating here, just do it!
Fire!!! I love this place. We must stop by every time we're in town. We need one of these restaurants in Orlando.

We've eaten at Copelands Jax more than 30 times over the years. And at the original Copelands in New Orleans and other Louisiana locations. So we are very familiar with how great Copelands can be. Last night, it was not great. It was not busy, many open tables in the bar area. Both apps we got for a table of 3 had very small portions (spinach/artichoke dip, broccoli balls), but tasty. Portions were also very small on the entrees. The half shrimp po-boy shrimp were undercooked. The accompanying corn and crab bisque was extremely salty. The soup dish was on the same plate as the po-boy, and was sloshed during serving so some was on the sandwich and made it soggy. The Catfish Acadiana was good, but again portions was small. I remember getting 2 pieces of fish in the past for this dish, instead of the one mid-size piece last night. The Steak Labouchere was good. The Crawfish Etoufee was extremely disappointing, mostly rice and very blandly flavored. Having had great etoufee in New Orleans, it was a let down for a 'New Orleans' restaurant. Our server Nicole was very nice but seemed stretched to cover too many tables. All in all, it will be awhile before we venture across town again to Copelands.

It was my second time eating brunch. Copelands is a great place to eat after a great service at IMPACT Church of Jacksonville Florida at Regency Mall.

First time going to Sunday brunch. Kim was out waitress and really rolled out the red carpet. Don't forget to order jazzy wings and beignets, they're included in brunch you just gotta ask. Prime rib and brisket needed more flavor but overall deeeeelicious! Even if you're dieting, there's that many options. Starts at 10am, got there around 10:20 and there wasn't that many ppl there. We left around 12 and it was packed.

It was a delightful experience having Nora as my waitress tonight. She demonstrated meticulous attention to detail, exuding a warm and welcoming demeanor. She ensured that our drinks were filled and consistently checked on us. This was my birthday dinner, and I’m thrilled I chose Copelands. If I hadn’t, I never would have met Nora. When you venture into this establishment, I highly recommend requesting Nora as your server. You won’t be disappointed with her exceptional service. Well done, Nora, and keep up the wonderful work!
