Service was okay after we finally were waited on. We sat for 20 minutes before our server ever came over stating she was to busy and she was trying to get someone to cover our table. The food was not as good as we expected or as it used to be. The games several were down, took our money. But all in all it was a fun experience. If we return we probably won't eat a meal.
We came at a very busy time but the Hostess & Waiter made it a great experience! Quick service & great food...our kids loved the milkshake of course. Fun atmosphere 😊
The overall experience was fun for the kids. We reserved a table online and when we got there I asked for it to be in the game room. She state that "they had one but she had someone whose been waiting a while did I mind if they got the table?" I obliged and then proceeded to see the table I want be empty my entire time dining. Which was almost 2 hours. We ordered very simple menu items and everything just took a long time. 20 minutes to review sodas after they were ordered 1 hour to review an appetizer. 1.5 hours for the food. It was not busy. Then to top it off the bathrooms WERE GROSS
We had a reservation that we were on time for and still had to wait over 30 mins to be seated with plenty of tables all around us that were open. Once seated it took another 30-40 mins to get drinks and then another 15 mins for them to come back and get our order. Food took forever to come out, we never got any refills on our drinks and waitress never even put our appetizers in for order, so we never got them while waiting on our food. Our waitress was nice but everyone else that we interacted with was very rude and short with us when asking questions. While it took way too long for just the dining aspect of our visit, the food was somewhat warm and tasted good when it did come out. It was not crazy busy so not sure what the issue was.
Overall, you can get what you pay for at Dave & Buster's. You really go there for the gameplay. The one thing that I really think is deceitful, yeah I think that's the best word, is the fact that they now have this option with your food menu (so keep in mind you are in their dining room, ordering food and having it served at your table) is this whole Power play? Basically you get to choose from a pre-formatted menu and then you can pick a Power card so you could go play later on in their game area here's where I think they're deceitful and it jacks up how you wind up tipping close to double plus or minus what you would tip if you were to just tip on the food alone. they say that you end up saving money on the card, but you're more than pay for it back in a tip. so I went yesterday on December 25 and my total bill was $132.13 and the sales tax was $9.22 making the subtotal $122.91. They suggested chip amount if you did 20% let's say based on how they show you their receipt is $24.58. My food total was $58.91. If you tip 20% off of $58.91 which is the normal where you would tip if you're tipping off of just a restaurant field would be $11.78. Yeah Dave & Buster's wants you to tip 20% off of the subtotal which includes the play card again the subtotal being $122.91. Now there's nothing against the server that I had yesterday and when I had in the past; however, they have absolutely little to deal with you, making a choice maybe some information if you ask, and you certainly don't do much other than hand you the card that you saw. I'm not trying to be cheap here, but I'm not sure that warrant a 20% tip off of a play card that I could simply just buy in the prayer area. This whole thing is just a gargantuan scheme to tip more and look. I have nothing against the waiter(esses) but the utility is not there for what I'm receiving that I could just do on my own.
The food was overpriced and nasty! So nasty $50 for something worth $2.00 smh never again! The games are fun though it’s tons of options.

Fun place for family time. The human crane was very exciting and fun for my son. THE HUMAN CRANE allows one person to be attached to the crane machine with the help of staff and lifts you up in the air and allows you to grab as many gigantic plastic animals you can grab but your only allowed to keep one. Also, the ticket prices have went up so if you dont mind not playing VR, or standard crane machines then go with the unlimited game play, it will have you money and 90 min is good enough for smaller children. I didnt have no food but honestly it smelled delicious in there I could tell what someone ordered without even seeing the food (Buffalo boneless wings) 😅 overall, staff was friendly , games were fun and we had a great time.

Lots of different games, food choices, drinks as well. Staff relatively friendly, helpful with most answers. Jacksonville location one bar tender makes great drinks, his coworker.. a lot to be desired of..literally was given a virgin drink 🤔
The woman working the front desk today was terrible. We decided to get the $60+ unlimited 90 minute card, she informed us it wouldn’t work on prize games that have purple rings around where you tap to play. After paying and heading over to the Dance Dance Revolution game, it didn’t work. I asked again because the ring was not purple, it was pink and it should’ve worked. She wanted to take us on a pointless walk to the game (at the end of the building when the desk is at the front). She then said it wouldn’t work because it was pink. I told her she misinformed us then because she said it only wouldn’t work on purple rings, she then changes her words to pink AND purple rings. The card was specifically for that machine as a birthday gift to the birthday girl today. She didn’t help with anything and had to buy a completely new card on top of the 90 minute play card as well. There should be a list of games that you cannot access instead of going in blindly, and tell that front desk lady to know the difference between pink and purple.
