Dave's Hot Chicken

I was looking forward to trying this place based on what I've heard, so I finally stopped by and tried the slider and fries combo.

The fries were decent but unfortunately the chicken slider was lukewarm, chewy, and bland, and the combination on the bun with cold sauces made for a terrible experience. I didn't even finish it.

I would never eat here again purely due to the food.

Amazing place, amazing service and overall just so amazing! Evelyn, Winford and Jordan have got to be the best customer care Ive ever seen! Go check out this place as you wont ever wanna eat somewhere else!

Highly Disappointed

My husband and I just drove 30 mins to try Dave Hot Chicken. I was so excited after watching Jas Kam eats and Zach and Tee reviews. My chicken was cold even though we waited for our order. I tried to chalk it up to that fact that they close at 11pm and we received our order around 9:27pm so they might just be giving customers chicken that didn’t sell from earlier in the day. The fries were over cooked and the amount of powder they put in my tender was making me cough. Needless to say I haven’t eaten it after my first bite. 😅🫣🤦🏾‍♀️ I’m embarrassed to even write this review because that was an hr drive when I could’ve went to Snappers and received fresh chicken. For the price my expectations were high. “You get what you pay for!” Not in this case

When you arrive you order just like a fast food restaurant. Choose your chicken variation then choose your heat. I love the sliders with a little heat and the house slaw on it. It's a great balance and doesn't leave my mouth burning. The chicken tenders are good as well.

Great chicken. Fresh and hot. I could taste the seasoning here and there. Definitely saw it so why couldn’t I taste it fully ? I’m still a raising caines fan but if I’m out here I might give them another try. But seriously what’s with the random piece of bread ? Could have at least done something with it. Toast ? Garlic ? Butter ? Nope they just slap a store bread on there and say here’s a little extra lol

Ordered 11/19 around 10PM we asked some simple questions about the sliders, the girl at the counter couldn’t answer, at all. She just shrugged, no words. Then there’s a tip option at this fast food type of spot. The spice levels mean nothing, the mild is exactly the same as the hot. The fries were the spiciest thing. Chicken sliders were solid but the two sliders were crazy different sizes. Seems like the hype is just that.

Does not live up to the hype. It was an absolute over spiced grease bomb! I ate the first piece of chicken & threw the remainder away. The amount of grease dripping off the chicken was sickening, and $16.64 for 2 chicken strips, fries & small soda. Big disappointment. I’ve had a much better experience eating Nashville hot chicken nearby at Hopdoddy.

$20 for two tossed chicken strips with a side of ranch is crazy. It was not even good. We’ve got to stop supporting these corporate businesses. Another reason I barely eat out super disappointed in my experience. And customer service, The way they are pushing each additional cup of sauce for two dollars is super disappointing. I feel sick from this food McDonald’s dollar menu is better than this.

The chicken slider meal was excellent—perfectly seasoned, tender, and cooked to juicy perfection. Each slider was flavorful, well-balanced, and satisfying. We ordered Mild level of hotness. I think next time we'll bump it up a notch! Highly recommended for anyone craving a delicious, easy-to-enjoy bite.

This place is amazing yall. Came here at like 10:30p one night. I really expected it to be mediocre because it was so late. The slider changed my life. I am anew. Get some honey with your order. Also really cool that the menu is so simple (like 3 choices). Its really good chicken and the people working there dont look like they hate you for walking in 😁theyre kind. Glad I made the stop.

Got a tender medium heat, came with pickles and Dave’s sauce. Tender was very big and cooked fresh, I thought the medium heat was pretty spicy. Had to wait about 15 minutes for my order and the girl at the counter wasn’t the friendliest but overall pretty good experience, nothing special though.
