By far the best experience at a restaurant/diner ever. Not only is the homestyle diner food IMMACULATE but the service and staff is beyond friendly and welcoming! it makes you not want to leave/immediately come back. Been wanting to try this place for weeks and so glad i finally did. Mason and Razor made the experience an 11/10. By far the funniest and nicest staff ever. Youre a lucky one if you get to hear ANY of Masons one liners, the stories are even better. Highly recommend this place for breakfast/lunch.P.s. get mason a stack of blueberry pancakes, on me.

My husband I went to the Deerwood Deli & Diner for breakfast. We were there for an hour and never received our food. When I asked the server to check on our food he said our order would be out next. I said, why are others getting their food before us and we arrive before they did? His comment was, "they are regulars." He seemed very annoyed that I questioned him. Needless to say, we walked out. I hope their regulars will keep them in business. The place looks very out-dated and not well kept. We went across the road (across Southside Blvd) and to try the Deerwood Bistro. We had a hot meal within 15 minutes. The Bistro was much cleaner and the service was great. So much for Deerwood Diner.

My cousin was visiting from out of town and we stopped in for breakfast (first time for both of us). The atmosphere and service was incredible. Mason and Justin both made our experience wonderful. We both were very happy we chose to have breakfast here and plan on visiting again next time he’s in town!

This place is AMAZING! The Reuben I had was the best I’ve ever had in my life! They make their a thousand island dressing from scratch. Their breakfast tastes delicious and their pancakes melt in your mouth. You will not be disappointed if you ever go here, the staff is so friendly and personable. And Mason is the best!!! He will leave you laughing the whole time. If you want to try a new place or become a regular somewhere, this is the place!

The food was excellent but the service was great! I love the vibe of the diner. The host was very friendly and hilarious and really made it a great experience! Must try this place! ( and they make the best veggie burrito! )

If you're looking to have an excellent breakfast, this is your place. The best French Toast in the world is served here. If you think you like French Toast, try there's and I guarantee that you will not be disappointed. The food, the service and the people are amazing. The cook knows his way around a kitchen. The employees are always super friendly.I moved to Jacksonville from Cleveland a couple years ago and I've been on the lookout for a good corned beef sandwich. A friend recommended this place and they didn't disappoint!My boyfriend really enjoyed his omelette, too.
