Very fast service, always greeted with a smile. The food is hot and flavorful. It like stepping back into time in this little shop. It has been around for a long time and has stood the test of time.

I use to love coming here. Came in today got a BIC with cheese grits the cheese grits was that instant cheese grits added to some regular cooked grits HORRIBLE.
I also ordered a BAC Pita with Mayo and tomatoes. Bread was hard kinda stale even though it was toasted. Eggs were overcooked. No tomatoes were added.
The cookies still is a winner.
Cashier super sweet.

Overall disappointed

Ordered the deluxe salad and it didn't have any tomatoes. I work right across the street - I ran right back over at 1:25 pm and the door was locked (before closing time). They saw me at the door and wouldn't come talk to me. They had to have recognized me - I was just there two minutes before. I've probably spent over $500 at this place over the years. They lost a customer today.

Good every time! Hopefully you get there early enough to get a chocolate chip cookie before they sell out! I order the half ham melt and half salad! So delicious and the price is unbeatable!

I've been coming here for years, and the staff is always warm and welcoming. The food hits the spot every time. Just be ready to circle the block for parking, it’s downtown after all, but totally worth it!

Quaint, no-frills deli in downtown Jax. Tasty pita sandwiches and good potato salad. It gets busy at lunch and space inside is limited.

A hidden gem in downtown Jacksonville.

The most disgusting sandwich shop I've ever ate in my life 20 minutes afterwards I had stomach problems I don't understand why you could call that a sandwich or even that you're still in business I'm so confused about the quality of food here in Jacksonville. I feel like that everybody here in Jacksonville is eating out of a garbage can once or twice and call it gourmet.

I only write reviews when service is sub-par. If you don't hear from me you're doing a great job.

Ordered a sandwich. Paid and sat.

Sandwich (delicious BTW) comes out. Minus potato salad. I ask, "Can I get chips?"

"No. We're out".

I point to the "premium" chips out front. "How about those chips?"

"No. You have to pay for those".

I'm in a good mood and probably don't need the carbs anyway.

Lunch isn't what it used to be.
