I don't know why there are people hating on this place in the comments. The food is really good. Best authentic Philly I have had in my 20+ years living in Jax. This isn't a restaurant hangout. You buy your food and leave. Huge portions for a decent price. I wish they would be open earlier on the weekends though.

The best cheesesteak in town. Authentic and delicious. Now, my husband would say to get double meat and cheese. I think the ratio is great, but if you like a higher meat/cheese ratio, get double.

Otherwise the flavor and quality are perfect.

While the cheese steak tasted pretty good, I was absolutely pissed about the amount of meat in the sandwich. I get that they are priced pretty close to Jersey Mike’s. You get more filling with Jersey Mike’s. I would definitely rate them higher if the actually added meat to their sub. I would even pay more to have it filled like a traditional cheese steak. Again still tasty, but lacking.

And fries were pretty good…wiz on point.

Fairly authentic Philly cheesesteak. Amorosa rolls make a difference. However after waiting for about twenty minutes I decided to check on my order. Then found out they had given it to someone else. They were very busy and only had one person working the grill and one person taking orders. Have to sit outside but no PA system. Can’t believe they didn’t have some kind of hot pepper relish. By the time I got my order my soda was hot from sitting in the sun. I will give them another chance if I’m ever down in the area again. Salty French fries.

Definitely never had problems eating at this place. The sandwiches are always good depending on who’s on the flat top? Never had a problem when the girl is cooking the cheese steaks. Will definitely not go back if the guy is on the flat top cooking. I was eating more bread than meat in our sandwiches and all 3 of them were like that. Don’t get me wrong the bread is really good, but not when it overpowers the meat. Do better, dude.

Decided to stop by since it was down the street from work. 10/10 🔥 Had the vegan cheesesteak with provolone, mushrooms & garlic aioli. They were very friendly & service was fast. It was so delicious. Wish I would’ve taken a picture but after the first bite it was a wrap lol!
