A solid option for a Cheesesteak. The wait is a little long because they make everything fresh. There is no indoor seating and just a few outside tables. The price may seem a little expensive at first but they have large portions. Just a warning they are cash only unless you order online(which makes it a little more expensive).

Stopped by while in town and grabbed a cheesesteak, it was delicious. Make sure to order online ahead of time as they don't accept card in shop and there might be a bit of a wait. They do however take cash and have an ATM inside as well if needed. The lady at the counter was very friendly. I would definitely recommend stopping by here if you enjoy cheesesteaks!

Stopped in today. I usually make a rule to avoid other regional faves when in a different city. Like I wait until in Philly to grab a cheesesteak. And I eat a ton of shrimp down here in Jax. Well today I was in the area so decided to stop in. Got a cheesesteak wit onions, whiz and peppers. My standard order at my spot in Philly. (Hey Del Rossi’s!). Here’s the thing. If you live in Philly you have a spot. You may have two spots. So you usually don’t venture from those cuz the small differences drive you crazy. At least that’s my experience. And my fave spot was just a half a block away. So it didn’t miss!ANYWAY…I was in the area, stopped in, got the goods and rolled. Ordering was easy, staff was friendly and it was great to see the flattop and the steak ready to be cooked. That jawn is a proper set up! Didn’t eat it til I got home so I reheated it. Bread still soft, good steak to whiz ratio and enough that I had to eat it in two sittings.Thanks for reminding me of home!
I recently visited Eddis & Sons Cheesesteaks and left with mixed feelings. Let's start with the positives – the food was undeniably delicious. The cheesesteaks were cooked to perfection, with the right balance of meat, cheese, and toppings. Each bite was a flavorful experience that left me craving more.However, the service left much to be desired. The lady working at the register seemed disinterested and unhelpful. It was evident that she lacked enthusiasm for her job and didn't go out of her way to assist customers. Her demeanor detracted from the overall experience and left me feeling disappointed.In conclusion, while the food at Eddis & Sons Cheesesteaks is definitely worth trying, improvements in customer service could greatly enhance the dining experience. Hopefully, they can address these issues to provide a more satisfying visit for future customers.

They are always busy but yet very friendly and the food is freshly made. Call it in for the fastest service but regardless, it is worth the wait. These cheesesteaks are the only ones I will eat now!

I'm from Philly & tried this place for the 1st time after it was recommended last night.I was pleased with the quality of my meal. Plenty of fresh & well seasoned steak. The rolls were from home & that also made a big difference.Wish you carried tasty kakes also.I'll definitely be back soon.

Damn near the best cheesesteak I've ever had. High quality and excellent portions. The truffle french fries are pretty badass. Definitely a loyal customer going forward.
Authentically from Philly and why not have a little wait for the best cheesesteaks in town. Call while your on your way and you wont be disappointed. PERIOD!! They bring the Philly feel to Jacksonville and no one does it better!!Vegetarian options: Their veggie sub, which I've had for giggles, was nothing to laugh about. Surprisingly you won't miss the beef.
