I’m just writing this post to spare anybody else, I recently just moved to Jacksonville and I had family members in from out of town and we went here to eat some food. Everything looked old from like the day before the food was cold. Nothing had any type of flavor there was zero customers in there you can see the rice was hard. Mind you I am Hispanic, so this was very disappointing to come here and I have food that was so un flavorful and so disgusting and . Please don’t waste your time going here..

I only go here for the Cuban sandwich & one day they were closed so I went elsewhere. Never again. The other place i went to was mostly bread. But el mofongo aren't cheap with the filling. They make a great Cuban sandwich.
Oh! & their desserts are perfect too! Not too sweet. Their tres leches is heaven.

First time having monfungo, it was good but it needed a sauce. Even with the shrimp, it got dry real quick. The cubano mixto was good. Reminded me of my childhood where you put everything on your sandwich and eat it. Unfortunately unless you speak Spanish you won't know about the other foods they have on there hot line.

The food here is awesome! Always ready to go. You get served right on the spot so you don't have to wait. They have a bakery inside and plenty of seating room. It is a very nice place to eat and relax. The workers here are really friendly and are happy to serve you. My favorite food to eat is Pernil [pulled pork] with Congri [fried rice & beans]. They have Yuca, chicken, plantains, and more.

Business is missing out on customers because they don't speak English. I came in wanting food and dessert. After 15 minutes of struggling thru language app and customer who spoke a little English, I was finally able to get some food to go. Even the register was in Spanish. This neighborhood has many non Spanish speaking neighbors. Our money is green and we like to eat.

I've been coming to this place since I was little. Just realized the ownership has changed so I was skeptical of my usual ( cuban) but man it did NOT disappoint. 😍flavor is always on point still taste the same. Glad they have longer hours now too.

I used to come to this place all the time. The empanadas fell off though. Crust tasted old and stale like it’s been sitting under a warm light. Chicken was super dried out and the cheese in the pizza empanada was dry and cold. I’m going to try again cause they used to make the empanadas fresh. Maybe it was a bad day.
