Serving the best Mexican- style rice on this side of the Mississippi, El Tapatio is actually owned by true Mexicans, and you can tell because all of the flavors and styles are that of the Baja area of Mexico. An individual from Southern California can tell the difference!
From the chips and salsa to the meat-filled tacos, you can't go wrong. The small menu shows that they focus more on quality rather than in quantity.
If you're from Southern California, you will greatly appreciate the delicious food and excellent service. Come give El Tapatio a try!

Called and wanted to go and eat. The person that answered the phone hung up on me after I asked if they had a happy hour and if they served drinks. Called back after she hung up on me just to see if they had drinks and said no and immediately hung up on me. What a terrible person and terrible customer service. Wow, I really wanted to try the place, but that will never happen. Can't believe the way they treat customer's that they have a business. It could have been a great spot right in my neighborhood, but I guessed that I'll never know. Shame on them! Don't go there!!! 😡🤔ðŸ˜

Looked at the reviews for this place which were mixed, but decided to try anyway because the husband wanted menudo and we are sooo glad we did. First of all the salsa was delicious with just the right amount of spice to it. The menudo was very delicious and the tripe was so soft it melted in your mouth. I had posole which was equally just as good. Overall great service, clean bathrooms and we will definitely be back. Don't listen to the haters everyone here speaks enough English to serve you and are very polite.

I wanted to give an update review for this place. We don’t live here so was trying to find good Mexican. I think they are pretty pricey. But servers are really nice. We really enjoyed everything. The queso, the salsa was my favorite. My kids enjoyed their tacos. The kid meals is $10. We got 3 kids meals, queso, I got nachos & hubs got a quesadilla & that added up to about $65. But I do recommend this place bc they are true Mexican food!
