A few days ago, I ordered the Fancy Q Roll, and honestly, it was a huge disappointment. The fish tasted overwhelmingly “fishy” in the worst way like that strong, unpleasant smell you get from seafood that’s clearly not fresh. It genuinely felt like the fish had been sitting around way too long, which, sadly, wasn’t surprising at all considering how empty the restaurant was. The whole place had a really uncomfortable, almost eerie atmosphere. It was dead silent, barely any customers, and I was sitting there for quite a while without seeing anyone come in. That kind of emptiness really makes you question how fresh anything could possibly be. Overall, it felt like a place that’s been neglected both in quality and vibe. Definitely not somewhere I’d recommend unless you enjoy taking risks with questionable food.

The clear soup was really not good, it tasted like plain water mixed with some mushrooms. The food overall was also not tasty. They tried to offer customers various free dishes, but it still didn’t make up for how bad the food tasted. Don’t waste your time going there, better to visit a more established restaurant. I will absolutely NEVER come back to this place. Take my advice and save your money and go somewhere else.

We love this place and were there last night for my spouse's birthday dinner. The food is always fresh. It is definitely one of our favorite places to get sushi and sashimi because what is supposed to be cold is always cold and fresh and even the hot rolls are crisp and yummy. The veggies in dishes like the hibachi are great too and not over cooked like some places. We also appreciate the music not being too loud so we can have conversations around great food and great service with any size group! The owners and staff are great as well.

The sushi here is absolutely delicious. The ingredients are fresh and sweet, and you can taste the high quality in every piece. The chef makes everything to order with professional skills. The rice is perfectly seasoned with just the right temperature and texture. The fish is fatty but not greasy, and the toppings are generous. The restaurant is clean and quiet with a comfortable atmosphere and friendly service. Both classic and special sushi are amazing with great value. I’m very satisfied and highly recommend this hidden gem sushi restaurant!

BEST new restaurant in Jax. The sushi was amazing and the service was honestly the best we've ever had in Jacksonville. Also, their mango sake was a great dessert!

Thought I could drop in for a quick boba tea for carry-out but it took 10min. Minimal options and high price, I’ll go somewhere else in the future.
I asked for non-dairy options, they had none. And the milk tasted like it was sour.
