Firehouse Subs St. Johns Town Center

I am not one to complain but we went there today for lunch… they maybe had four customers in there when we arrived. It took thirty minutes to get our food even though at least three people were making subs. Employee chatter wasn’t the most professional either. I get this is a sub place but I’ve never had a bad experience at a Firehouse until today.

I ordered 2 subs on Saturday Feb 15 2025. I ordered 1 beef and cheddar with mushrooms and caramelized onions. 2nd order was
A steamer sub. Beef and cheddar was HORRIBLE!! There was no cheddar cheese and no sauce. The meat tasted and smelled old. I called 3 times to report as was delivered. 2 times put on hold and Noone returned to call. 3rd time no answer. 2nd sub was great my daughter said. I'm very disappointed in the quality of the food order! Your customer service was the worst I've ever experienced. I've been a customer since Firehouse Subs opened here in Jacksonville. But this incident just turned me against your company.

You can’t order without using the self service machines so it’s a huge hassle to customize. A shame, this was one of my favorite sub spots.

Both my daughter and I got food poisoning from this location. We both keep vomiting, I ordered a steak sub and the meat was very cold like it wasn’t even cooked. Will not be returning to firehouse.

Walked in at noon for lunch. The kiosk was broken so it said to place order at the counter or use the mobile app. The young lady at the front then informed us that the kiosk was down and they had 10 online orders that the 3 of them needed to handle before they could help us and it was gonna be a long wait. There was at least 7 of us in line. The customers that walk in to order and dine in should still be taken care of, one of 3 employees should be prioritizing these orders while the other two employees could handle the online orders. This is a common occurrence with horrible wait times at this location and it is due to lack of management.

Worst experience I’ve ever had going to a firehouse subs, I love these subs and I’m prepared to wait for a nice hot and fresh sub, but the wait for my sandwich on top of their long list of Uber eats and other online orders it seems in person dining is pushed to the back burner. Not even that I saw my sub sitting on the counter getting cold and that’s not even the worst part , the employee touching my bread was on his phone with his gloves on and never changed the gloves he proceeded to touching multiple sandwich’s without changing gloves to the point where I said something to him over the counter and called him out , there was one girl working hard to fulfill orders while two dudes were just goofing off and standing around , absolutely ridiculous. Management needs to get in here and stay here to implement change. If you have cameras please watch the footage from today around 1:20 pm - 1:40 pm 11/15/24
