I went here last night on a date for valentine day date .Had reservations for 8pm plenty of tables but we had to wait 17 mins . Finally sit down didn’t get no drink til 9:10 and only one drink came . Waitress only came by twice in the hr 45 mins we was waiting to take our order a 45 mins after being seated and our drink at 9:10….we was sitting right across from the bar so we could see ppl ordering drinks and getting them on the spot . About 9:50 I got up and said something to the lady with the shirt cut and tablet. About 9:50 the place almost was less busy than it was when we first got there so I was confused . When I said something the only thing they said was the drink that was watered down was free I didn’t even touch the drink because we was waiting on another drink. Trying to support a local restaurant is not always good we end up going home after because going somewhere on vday that late wasn’t going to work . Bad communication and customer service . When yall are busy like that yall need to come up with a better operation then yall had last night ..I have 147.1k on TikTok I will be giving my full review yall ruined my night. 👍🏾

Not a single person in my party liked any of the food

They over book! And not true to their numbers. The food is not as flavorful as promised. When hosted the music is over powered in one area and plays into the next. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

This place didn't live up to any reviews I read. The curry chicken was unflavored and my shrimp dish was perfectly BLAND. I've known for hospital food to taste better. Save your time and money and forget the hype. This is NOT the restaurant to authentically represent flavors from any culture, cuisines or fusion from any.

Went for a bridal shower lunch and really enjoyed myself. The service and food definitely deserve 5 Stars. I was able to sample a lot of the menu and everyone really enjoyed their food. I don't even eat shrimp but I have to comment on how well it was fried and seasoned because everyone in the group was raving about it. I ordered the veggie rasta pasta which was absolutely delicious. I also had some of the oxtail rice and macaroni. Very well seasoned I just wish there was more meat in both. I also had a mango mocktail which I really enjoyed. Will return again soon for more yummy food and try something off their cocktail menu now that I've given birth since my visit.

Vegetarian options: The veggie rasta pasta was just what I needed. Super flavorful with the right amount of spice. Will order again.

Great ambience! Relaxed atmosphere with great food. A little on the pricey side, but only with the oxtail special, so I recommend asking upfront.

I do not recommend this place. The food is completely overpriced for the portions to be so small. Had the oxtail Mac and Cheese it was 13 dollars and was literally the size of a can of cat food. It tasted like hamburger helper with ox tails. The atmosphere was okay, but nothing fancy. The server we had was very nice though.

We arrived with high expectations and left disappointed. Drinks were subpar and food was less than mediocre. One would expect the food would be amazing for being so pricey but it definitely was far from good. Tried it, did not like and will not return ?

I went their with two island women and two teens. The only thing that was good was the sauce they gave you on the side.
The collard green dip( their spin of spinach dip) was too salty($14). It was served with corn tortilla chips out of the bag, which we all know are salty. It would have maybe been ok if it was served with some type of toast. I didn't hate it, but for $14, store bought chips were not it. For appetizers, we also had the jerk wings(not jerk flavor, more soy based with honey), ox tail mac and cheese(tasted like velveta) and the Jerk spring rolls( good with the side sauce).

The teens ordered the shrimp and grits. It was so soupy, and they couldn't find the grits.

The other two ladies had the coconut shrimp, and again, it was soupy with very little flavor.

I had the ox tail fried rice($35) it was ok with the side sauce.

My friends asked to see the chef. We were told that he comes out to greet the customers. The waitress told us he was Jamaican, so we just wanted to say hi. He never came out. The place was not busy. When we got there, there were only two people sitting at a table. They left 20 minutes later. When we left, there were two tables being occupied. Table 1 had 4 people, and Table 2 had a party of 8 to 10 people.

Attached is my receipt to show the service charge and 2.5% additional charge. I normally always take pictures of the food. Let's just leave it at I did not take any pictures this time.

Not worth $74.

Waited to be seated for 10mins. Then another 10mins for a waiter to come to the table to take our order. It wasn't crowded, not a lot of people in there. My food came out cold. It would of probably would of been good if it was hot. It was a party of 2, 2 separate tickets and a service fee of $10 for me and $8 my friend. The service wasn't great.

I have followed chef Richard since he was on old St Augustine Rd! The food is exceptional! The service is grand! But the experience is unprecedented!!!! Come for the food and stay for a good time! Brunch on Sundays is where it’s at!!!! The oxtail is why I go!!!! Never disappoints!!
