This place is awesome! Please be aware they have moved. I went to get the original location and it was no longer there. Lol.I began with the creamy French onion soup absolutely delicious. Then as an entree, I had the Chickpea curry! It was so good I couldn't stop eating. The owners were absolutely wonderful. They checked on us often!Do not waste your time with bread pudding it was a big disappointment. The flavor Was good but the texture. It was hard as a rock.I will return.Your Pal, DawnAlways an honest review

Attention Foodies!!! The food here is an experience! It's the taste of Jamaica but elevated! They understand flavor, balance, and timing! Nothing tastes rushed. If you truly love authentic cuisine, fine dining, and food for the soul; this is the one place you must try before you leave Jacksonville! Hands down! You will not be disappointed! I can't say enough!

I haven't had the opportunity to visit this restaurant but had seen it and look at reviews which was not to bad. I had plans to visit it one day soon until Saturday night late when my husband was looking for a place open for food. Came across Pink Salt inwhich was about to close when he arrived. The young lady my understanding told him no for food until the manager heard and offered my husband food that was left with out pay. That was an A plus for me. And to top it off he gave him leg of lamb and curry chicken which was GREAT. The food was soooo good. I will be dining in soon and looking forward to the full atmosphere. Thank you to the manager on duty Saturday night 2/24/24. You earn my business.

Enjoyed an early Valentine’s Day dinner with hubby. Went for happy hour and sat in the umbrella bar. Friendly servers and even met the chef! Shared happy hour platter and curry coconut shrimp. All was delicious with just the right amount of spice.

Went with a group of 10 for lunch. Had beet salad which was very good. Others in the party seemed happy with their orders. Very friendly and efficient server! Decor, especially in bar area was a nice mix - colorful, tasteful.

They were out of most of the menu and the service was terrible also our waitress couldn't give us 6 different checks, she said that she would have to get management to split our checks and there was no manager on site at this time. And the food was not that good anyway.

Delicious and unique food. Went there for a birthday and they accommodated a large group.

I'll be honest. I enjoyed my experience at Pink Salt until I got my bill. Great staff, great ambiance, amazing service, the restaurant definitely has a classy family vibe. They have $1 wing Wednesdays, so I started with wings and a house drink from the bar. For my entree, I ordered the curry goat leg, listed as "market price." The food looked lovely as it arrived. The taste was good, a nice combination of flavors. However the goat leg plate was pretty small - it didn't come with much meat at all and it was a little lacking in flavor. I cleaned my plate and definitely could have eaten more, but decided I was done for the evening. I got my check and saw that the curry goat leg plate was $40. My total bill was $65 - for an entree, dollar wings, and a drink. Lesson learned on "market price," but there's just no way I could feel good about paying $65 for the fare I was served. I'll definitely come back for the ambiance if nothing else, but I can't lie, the expensive tiny plate left a bad taste in my mouth.

One of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had.Very slow but friendly service. We were told they were out of a few apps so we ordered a different app and were told they were out of that too. We then ordered the crawfish and collard app which tasted old and very salty. Did not eat it. 30 minutes or so after we ordered the app they took our entree order. I ordered the highly recommended special of the evening. THIRTY minutes AFTER I ordered they came out and told me that they were out of the special and that I would have to order something else. I declined at that point and decided not to eat. The other entree came out 5 mins later. It was acceptable but nothing special. We were never asked if the food was tasty nor were we asked why the app was virtually untouched. No bill adjustments were made to compensate for the lousy experience. Also be forewarned that they add 18% service charge regardless of party size. Definitely do not recommend this place.

This place is outstanding, I will definitely be back had the coconut shrimp, and jumbo Gumbo, and crawfish fritters. Everything my life needed and more decent prices wasn't to bad ether for the amount of food received. It was an amazing experience. ?

Very slow service, only 2 servers and 1 cook, and the oxtail was very tough - it should have been cooked slower and much longer. Decent ambiance but i do not know why the fanfare - maybe this was an off (weekday) night

This is a cozy Caribbean inspired restaurant did not miss a beat!.. I enjoy the entire experience we had reservations as soon as we walked it we were greeted by Chef Richard and shown to our table. When you enter there's a small waiting area by the full bar, The further you go back the more intimate the setting gets. The waitress Meghan suggested we try the the Jamaica Mama & Rum Punch. We received complimentary bowls of soup.It was very filling but We started with the collard green dip, Jerk peel & eat shrimp ( Has a kick) and the snapper didn't disappoint!
