Five Fx Ice Cream

I was in town visiting friends. We decided to stop at this ice cream shop because it wasn't too far from where we had dinner. The idea of the shop is very cute. But the customer service was a lack of. I explained that I had never been there before and I was offered no assistance. They just stared at me until I read off the menu and decided what I wanted. I literally had to wait 15 minutes to get my ice cream and I was the only one in the shop. There were three people that were there working. I definitely will not be back or recommend to anyone visiting. The reason I gave a three was because the ice cream was actually delicious.

Fallen drastically from the opening years. Behind the glass is visibly disorganized, employee personal care and grooming products sitting on the counter surfaces. A core part of the experience blocked by mismatched topping storage

The walls, floors, table surfaces, and windows all appear dirty or haphazardly cleaned. The wood drawings from customers are gone, which is fine, but the holes were not filled so there's hundreds of holes all over the wall.

The appearance and behavior of the staff does not inspire confidence in safe food handling. Street clothes, no hats or hairnets, struggling with the Taiyaki machine. Unprofessional and overreactive employees... running around the store...

Why are the menus hand drawn on posterboards when Fed Ex Office is three or four doors down? Get chalkboards and markers if you want the hand drawn look.

The base product is still quite good and valuable... That alone will not keep people coming back.

It's just a place that's run by kids on their phones. Unprofessional staff members with their phones out.

I love going here on Friday nights! Their taiyaki is amazing- I recommend the Nutella and Bavarian cream. The only downside is it takes quite a bit of time for them to make the taiyaki but it’s worth the wait! They have games you can play and me and my best friend love coming here to sit back and relax, play games, and listen to K-pop

I didn't see any icecream and that's what we went for. The menu was hand written on poster boards which didn't give the security I needed to place an order. To top it all off, the toppings were everywhere in makeshift storage. It just gave the vibe of a kid's indoor lemonade stand that sold coffee and icecream. It made me sad because the sign was super cute and I just expected more. Great location but we took the short ride to Cold Stone Creamery.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Five FX for a long time, and it’s always been one of my go-to spots. However, my experience last night was a bit disappointing. I came in about an hour before closing, but unfortunately, the staff wasn’t able to take my order.

I understand things can get busy or there may be other challenges behind the scenes, but it felt a little off considering there was still time before closing. I truly value this place and hope this was just a one-time issue. Looking forward to the great service I’m used to next time!

It was my first time here and first time ever trying Taiyaki and it was absolutely AMAAZING. Cooked to perfection and the guy who helped us was so sweet. Totally coming here again! 💖

How do you have an ice cream shop that offers waffle cones but say you’re completely sold out of waffle cones and when asked if you are going to make more you say no!!! At this point every time I come in the place they are out of something.. I’ll be talking my business else were at this point.

Stopped in after having dumplings next door. The girls ordered taro and chocolate rolled iced cread. The taro was very good. I ordered the tapiyiki with taro. It was also good. Definitely try if in the area!

Our first visit here. Ice cream was good but not great. I pulled out our AAA card to get the senior discount and it was ignored. Not sure we will be back though it is very close to where we live.

The taro ice cream is really good! It’s made to order so you can’t mix flavors but worth it :)
