This was my first time going to this restaurant. I ordered a bowl for me and a smoothie for my toddler.

When I paid with apple pay, the cashier said that it did not go through. I did not see anything on the keypad that said otherwise. On my phone it said it went through. I called the credit card company and they said the transaction went through. The cashier and the manager on duty both insisted the charge went through… and shrugged that sometimes it happened. I showed them the charge on my phone. And nothing. They did not propose any other solutions than me running my card again. I did not feel comfortable with that because I did not want to be fraudulently charged twice.

My toddler started fussing and crying. They proposed nothing. I was considering changing my order to just get a smoothie to pacify him. But their staff had walked away from the counter. I left.

Maybe they don’t like crying babies or have any clue how to help a mom get a snack for a baby before naptime. I have never had a retailer claim that my card was NOT charged when it infact was. I will not be going back there.

If it was my business, I would have wanted to provide the food regardless. That would have made a return costumer out of me. But I won’t be back.

My girlfriend and I live in Orlando, Florida, and we come up to Jacksonville to work at the Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center (1000 Water St, Jacksonville, FL 32204). Whenever we’re in town, we enjoy stopping by Fla Juice & Bowl for their healthy food options and fresh ingredients.

This time, though, the experience was disappointing. We accidentally placed our order at the wrong location — the one near the beach — even though the location closest to the convention center is only about seven minutes away. When I arrived and explained the situation to the manager on duty (a young lady working around 3:37 PM on October 12, 2025), I politely asked if we could possibly switch the order or cancel it so I could reorder at the correct spot. She simply said “no.”

I asked again, hoping to offer a simple solution or at least see if there was another option, but once more, she declined without any willingness to help or even consider the situation. I want to make it clear that I wasn’t asking for a free meal — I fully understood the mistake was on my end. I just expected a little understanding or at least a courteous effort to find a reasonable solution.

I understand that everyone has off days and that life can be stressful, especially at work. But when you represent a place that stands for health, nourishment, and positive energy, that same spirit should come through in how you treat your customers. The food is meant to bring balance and wellness — and the people serving it should reflect that same energy.

Kindness goes a long way. I didn’t raise my voice or act upset; I simply expected professionalism and empathy. Unfortunately, that wasn’t shown here, and it left us feeling unwelcome and disappointed. It’s unfortunate because we’ve made this place a regular stop during our visits to Jacksonville.

Sadly, this experience has changed that. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously — not as hate, but as a reminder that good energy and genuine care are just as important as the food itself.

Unsatisfied Customer… just left after finally asking for a refund… RUDE and unorganised staff couldn’t finish a simple order. I placed an order and they start until 10 minutes later. This my THIRD bad experience!!!!

FOR THE OWNER!!!!! Don’t get me wrong I love this place but the service is beyond slow!!!! I placed an order online . The way the business is being ran is unprofessional, and honestly the business will not last. It’s one thing to be slow to make an açaí bowl but it’s another to walk into a business without being greeted within 5 minutes. Whoever the manager is here or the owner needs to step it up. Imagine ordering an açaí bowl that legit takes 15-20 minutes to make.

I’ve had several frustrating experiences at this location. On multiple occasions, I’ve placed an online order well in advance—over 30 minutes prior—only to arrive and find that it hasn’t even been started. Meanwhile, several staff members are often on their phones and not engaged. On one visit, I came to place an order in person and watched as an employee saw me and literally ducked into the back.

While the food is high quality, it simply doesn’t make up for the consistent lack of professionalism and disregard for customers’ time.

Extremely rude and unprofessional. My order was wrong and when brought to their attention they told me I would have to buy a whole other one…. As if it’s my fault they got it wrong. I think Italian toast sounds a lot different than LOX toast. Then proceeded to forget my drink as well 😂. This is the 2nd time I’ve been with my order wrong and no attempt to fix it. Miss chin hair was rude as can be and clearly can’t comprehend taking orders.

Really hate to leave a bad review as I am a loyal customer. However, today I had an unpleasant experience at this location. I walked in and ordered my go to açaí bowl(s). I typically add or take away certain toppings. Today, I added peanut butter to both of my bowls with was a $2 up charge, no biggie as I usually receive what I paid for. I got my bowls and one bowl wasn’t done correctly and both of my bowls didn’t even have a tablespoon worth of peanut butter. I walked back in to point out the error and request additional peanut butter as I paid $2 to get. Well, the two young ladies looked at me like I was silly stating this is the normal amount they give and it will be extra to add more. Paying $4 per bowl for PEANUT BUTTER is absurd. As previously stated, I am a loyal customer and I’ve never had this experience before and always get what I’ve paid for like we all should as customers! This matter was so petty, I just walked out. This was disappointing as a returning customer and very upset that my bowls were not prepared as they are typically prepared.

Açaí berries frozen most wasn’t frozen all way most was sitting out to long! I throw up 3 hrs later! Can win for losing in I was trying it health in still get sick!!! First time was amazing bowl ! Second time bowl had no love in it went on a Saturday!

I’m here regularly and the entire staff is amazing! These girls go above and beyond to make sure my custom açaí bowl is perfect every time. Great atmosphere, very cool ambiance, wonderful healthy food options and the best açaí bowl I’ve ever had!

After ordering a hot coffee I received a cold coffee. It took 25 minutes to get it replaced with the correct order and an additional 62 cents when I asked for more honey. Seriously! Do better

Exceptionally bad service from whoever was on shift and managing from afar this evening, 4/4/25. Their service is typically not great or efficient but the smoothies and poké bowls have mostly compensated for it. However, we just had such a bad experience with their staff that we won’t be returning to this location. On top of their inefficiency and unprofessionalism, they just really do not care about what they’re doing or how they do it. The shift lead took no accountability for their team’s poor handling of a situation that was very much their fault. Very disappointed.
