I’m so happy they’ve opened a restaurant! I absolutely love it — it truly feels like you’re in Puerto Rico. The decor beautifully captures the island vibe, the alcapurrias are delicious, and the music sets the perfect tone. While the service was a bit slow and the drink selection limited, the staff was friendly and welcoming. I noticed some instruments off to the side and meant to ask if they ever have live band nights. I’ll definitely be back!

Flavorikan in Jacksonville definitely nails the Puerto Rican vibe with its warm, colorful, and well-thought-out décor. The Puerto Rican–themed touches make it a visually inviting place to dine, and the staff were all pleasant, welcoming, and eager to please.

Unfortunately, the food just didn’t live up to the atmosphere. We tried both the crab and beef empanadas, and while they were okay, they were on the oily side. Our party of three all ordered the Flavorton...

This place is a small piece of Puerto Rico in Jax. They have every authentic dish to the island and sometimes they even have pop up items that are just as good! She used to have a food truck where people would line up for hours and now having an actual restaurant just brings it all together. They have live music and kareoke which just literally makes it feel even more like home. 🇵🇷❤️
