Love diners. Floyd's has that true throw back feeling along with an almost self serve situation. We had the pancake special with 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 sausage and the veggie omletet. The 2 pancakes were so big they overlapped the plate and were not cakey like most thick pancakes. But the highlight was the hashed browns and their dipping sauce and the way overstuffed veggie omelet. Best hashed browns (I mean crunchy crisp chunks of potato) I have had in years. New favorite breakfast place, and I want to come back to try the Pastrami Reuben sandwich for lunch next

Definitely enjoyed my experience at Floyd's diner, the fries lived up to the rave reviews! My sandwich had a glorious, crispy, buttery taste, which speaks well of the chef. I thought the cranberry mayo on the Monte Cristo could have used a stronger flavor, though my friend liked that it was mild, so I guess that is based on perspective. The food is quality and I will definitely try more things on the menu and recommend this diner to others! The experience isn't quaint or nostalgic, but it does have a hometown feel. Overall a great diner experience

Best staff ever. We were visiting from Mexico and driving through the area. We took a while to order at the counter, but the lady working was so nice and patient. Prices were good, especially for the HUGE food portions. Free chips and a sauce, the chips were awesome (didn't try the sauce). Food was good.

Floyd's is my favorite diner for many of their items. You know how french fries can and usually disappoint; not at Floyd's, always crispy and hot. My three favorites, probably the Best in Jacksonville, are their Cuban, Philly Cheesesteak and, yes, their burger. You will often time see Floyd, the owner cooking (how many see that happen in a restaurant) and is supported by his excellent staff of Marina and Brandi. It is a MUST!!!
