My family and I have been loyal customers of Fuji Sushi San Jose for years, but today was terrible. The salmon and cream cheese tasted spoiled, and when we told the staff, the manager accused my husband of lying instead of helping. He felt sick afterward, and they still made us pay after eating two pieces. Very rude and unprofessional.
Go to the Fuji Sushi in San Marco instead — much better service and food.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Fuji Sushi location in San Jose for over 5 years. My wife, two kids, and I usually go there every couple of weeks.
Today’s experience was awful. The salmon and cream cheese in one of the rolls tasted spoiled — it had a rotten, sour flavor. I told our server politely, and a manager came over. Instead of taking my concern seriously, she accused me of lying and insisted the food was fine. And she SAID!! ( I tried on piece and it’s good )
I know what their food usually tastes like — we’ve eaten here dozens of times. I even started feeling sick afterward and couldn’t finish my meal. Still, the manager refused to offer a replacement or any solution and just brought the check, even though I only ate two pieces.
After years of being a regular customer, I was shocked at how rude and unprofessional the staff were. I won’t be coming back.
I strongly recommend people go to the Fuji Sushi in San Marco instead — they treat customers with respect and the food quality is much better.

Didnt get a chance to eat. Walked in was going to wait for a table but was smacked with smell of diapers. Just didn't smell clean. Tables are on top of each other. Boxes all over the place on counter tops. Just didn't come across as a very clean establishment.

Got food poisoning right after going there. The food was mid to begin with, and salmon on some rolls had a very questionable texture. Though we went in as a party of eight and the server we had was a really fun guy.

I ordered 2 California rolls which didn’t even come in rolls. The outside was chewy and was in a triangle shape. I asked for Shrimp fried rice and there was no Shrimp at all. Very disappointed and will never come here again.

After 3 years of every weekend takeout - I'm done! Rotten avocado in all the rolls. Not a random brown spot, outright rot! There was even some fungus fuzz on one piece. It's not something you miss - the cook saw the rot, and made it anyway!. I'm afraid to think how they handle raw fish. Switching to different sushi place.

I love this restaurant and have recommended it to multiple people because they provide and all you can eat style menu but everything is fresh and made to order so I love it for that reason. The food tastes great. Over the years though the building itself has started to deteriorate: tables are run down walls run down. Bathrooms are rundown. Service is mid. I still go because I love the food, but wish the other things would be fixed.

Food was very disappointing for me, I ordered chicken Hibachi , no worth the price, fried rice is just steam rice with soy sauce no carrot, no peas, no fried egg! , Vegetables had no mushrooms and the portion was very small. Also the miso soup, was very poor, salty and it looks more like water with a lot of soy sauce, I definitely not coming back

You know what, there’s always something to complain about isn’t there? these guys are getting all you can eat sushi at $15 and $21, for lunch and dinner respectively, and all we can do is complain. Fine I’ll tell you what, Fuji 3 is now gonna bump up the price to $20 and $25 respectively, they’ll get some better help, more respectful servers, and then someone will still find something to complain about. We’ve all had a restaurant job at some point and we’ve all left at some point. lotta turnover in the restaurant industry. This place is good overall! sometimes they go through some rough patches. No reason to give them a bad review.

Went for the all you can eat sushi which they only allow you to eat for 90 minutes btw. The thing is the waiter completely ignored our table. He kept passing by not even looking our way. Finally, he brought the first round which everyone literally got 8 pieces of sushi each. We all put in a ticket for a second round and he never brought it. We just sat there and waited and waited. He said he put the order in and that he would bring it out. It never came then he said we couldn’t get anything else Because the kitchen already had its last call mind we put our tickets in way before the last call for the kitchen. This place is a complete joke in a scam. They literally just run circles around you so that they don’t have to give you any type of all you can eat food ridiculous.

I don’t normally leave bad reviews but from the start everything was bad. The wait was an hour so we thought oh this place had to be good. Wrong. The service was HORRIBLE. Every dish we ordered that they brought out was wrong. One main ordered first never even arrived until 2 hrs after it was ordered and repeatedly telling them we never got it. My daughter never once got the food she ordered. We all had ate and we were ready to go and they still hadn’t brought her food out. After telling her 5 more mins 4 times and and at the 2 hr mark of being there and we told them to cancel her order because we were leaving, they brought it out, sat it in front of her, laughed, and walked away. I have never been anywhere where I have had to encounter this level of unprofessionalism or downright horrible experience. They charged us two adult meals for a 6 and 5 yr old and then tried to argue that there weren’t two VISIBLE CHILDREN with us. Never again will I go there. I would give 0 stars if I could.
