This restaurant is very plain and old style. Cinder lot parking and old exterior. But you can smell the “smoke” and they have all kinds of specials printed on the door. Food was ready quickly. This Brisket Sandwich was absolutely the best I have ever had. Thick cut slices, minimal fat. Fall apart tender. Smoke ring excellent. Flavortown. Served on Texas toast. Good potato salad. Pulled pork is good, too.

The woman that “helped” us was SOOO RUUDE. for no reason. She was dismissive aggressive and on her phone the entire time. I had never been here I ended up sitting in the car while waiting for our food.

Horrible experience first of all the brisket tasted burned and they forgot the bread that come with the combo.
This is a tiny gem that I lucked up finding. It is definitely a favorite with locals. I tried it after searching on Google. I ordered onion rings for an appetizer. My main meal was a salad topped with brisket. It was so large, I could only eat half! Then, I was surprised with a complimentary banana pudding. Menu has a lot of variety. I would go back for the shrimp tomorrow but they are not open on Sunday. Try it! It's really good!

We’ve ordered here for pick up because we live just a few miles down the road. All the food was great but my issue is more with the customer service. I was not impressed by the lack of hospitality by the woman at the front counter. I walked up to the counter and she didn’t even say hi but immediately just asked me in a stressed sounding tone if I was eating in or picking up. I gave her my first and last name and she abruptly gave me the total and then started complaining about a coworker to the another woman up front. Never said thank you. Never said have a good day. Just handed over my food in a bag and went on with her conversation. Just seemed pretty rude when we spent $40+ dollars and you can’t do the bare minimum customer service for someone who’s supporting your local business.
