Gator's Dockside Oakleaf

My husband and I had just enjoyed a movie at Epic Theatre and decided to go in for an appetizer & entree to share along with his beer and my cocktail. It was was close to 10pm and it was surprisingly slow for a Saturday night. We were seated promptly but waited uncomfortably long for someone to acknowledge us at the table. A server was tending to customers at the booth next to us but did not ask if anyone was helping us yet. A server finally came and asked to which we inform her that no one had. She was very nice so we thought our choice to come here was salvaged. We ordered the spinach dip appetizer and the savory snapper entree looked delicious on the menu. We received our drinks and begin to wait and wait for the appetizer. Well, the entree arrived before the entree! Our server came by and apologized that the appetizer had not come out. It finally came out and was delicious but LATE. Now regarding the entree. It was very underwhelming but edible. The presentation was sloppy, the rice only slightly warm, no grill marks on the fish fillet making it look bland and I had to ask for a lime wedge. We don’t like sending food back and did not want to wait again for it to be done correctly. I will never order it again and IF I ever go back I will just order wings or something. $64.80 for one entree, one app, a beer and a cocktail plus a $10 tip ( because the server was nice) made for a waste of time and money.

The food is give or take. Good gator and wings, bland fish and chips, bad burger. My son loves the spring rolls.

Food is always really good. The only downside is they recently changed their tenders so they are much smaller and occasionally they overcook them. Other than that nothing but great experiences!

Great location beautiful bar. But when your drinks are Empty and bar tender does
Not offer another. Food was ok. Missed so much up sell. Wings are dry but ok flavor. Old fashioned was not great. Need more wine options. We decided to leave and drink at home instead of drink more here so much for date night.

My favorite is the Buffalo shrimp and gator taters. These items are on the appetizer menu but it's enough for a meal.

The food was okay, did not match with what was on the website though. Our server was terrible, he barely came to our table and was not very nice. He was socializing with the other servers while we waited over 10 minutes for the check.

Food was great and the portions are big. Our server was super friendly. I wish I could remember her name to give her credit for doing a great job !!

So the food is good by no means but me and my family went in there today and we were sitting there for about 20 minutes and we still did not have a waiter. We sat outside and the place was not even busy.

The seating was fast, and our server Mya was great. The alcohol drinks weren't that strong (if you like it like that) I don't. The food was good and the bill wasn't that high for 6 people.

Best chicken wings and fish n chips ever.
Got fish n chips to go today. Pretty fast service considering they were having a car show in the parking lot.... the food was great too!!

We had the BEST time at Gator's Dockside in Oakleaf for our school Spirit Night Fundraiser! Sue, the incredible manager, went above and beyond to take care of our large group, and her efforts made the night absolutely seamless. Our server was so sweet and accommodating, ensuring everyone felt welcome and had everything they needed.

The feedback I've received has been overwhelmingly positive—everyone had such a great time! The atmosphere was lively, the food was fantastic, and the service was exceptional. Sue, you are an absolute rockstar! Thank you for working so hard to make this event a success for our school. We can't wait to come back and do it again. Highly recommend Gator's Dockside for any group event or fundraiser!
