I brought my 88 year old Grandma to lunch at Gator’s Dockside in Oakleaf. As I was assisting her to the front door, we were greeted by the hostess, Alexia, who opened the door for us. She also pulled the chair out at the table for my Grandma when she sat us. Little gestures like that really make a big difference. Then our waitress, Megan, was great. The food was great, especially the deep fried green beans. The sweet tea was too sweet, but since I had water, no problem. The waitress was really friendly, and checked on us every time she walked by.
It was two days before Christmas and no Christmas shows on the many TV sets surrounding the room. I would have liked to have been able to watch something other than just sports. A nod to the season is not compromising the integrity of your sports bar, in my opinion.

My Lunch special was delicious, i had fried battered fish and crinkle cut fries. I also loved my coleslaw side. My sweet Tea tasted freshly brewed, I also loved my fried Pickles! They probably change the fry oil every day! I am impressed!!!
