We get to the Grape & Grain occasionally when we want a different environment for drinks. You have 2 different areas to enjoy drinks, which is great. What we like most are the experience mixologist (not sure if that is really the proper term, but they are definitely more then your average bartender). You simply describe to them what you like; alcohol, flavors, etc and most of them can create the most awesome unique and delicious drinks. A great place to visit for sure.

Went here last night with my friends and the service was horrible, we were blatantly ignored by the bartender after standing at the bar for over 15 min. When attempting to get the bartenders attention he told us to wait in the most rudest way, & then continued to take peoples orders around us as if we weren't even there. Unfortunately my friends & I left because we were never acknowledged, which sucked because they had a really nice band playing & the ambiance was nice.

A group of friends and I went to experience this well known location. Unfortunately, due to us being Caucasian, we were racially profiled and not let in. I would not suggest this bar if you are of the Caucasian descent.

I was kinda shocked that I hadn't done a review for Grape & Grain so I guess I'll get one done now. We came in on a Saturday afternoon and grabbed a drink at the bar (was a little too early for the speak easy). The staff was extremely friendly and I had to get myself a Gold Rush for my drink. The Gold Rush is Bourbon, Honey, and Lemon. 3 simple ingredients that make an amazing cocktail. Ashley and I were only planning on staying for one drink but our drinks were so good we had to have another. Grape & Grain also selling bottles so if you get something you after trying it out at the bar. They have a pretty good selection too. They also do their own barrel picks sometimes so something to keep in mine too because they are always amazing. The speakeasy is also a great place to grab a drink in a cool environment. Grape & Grain really makes me wish I lived in San Marco.
