My wife and I live in Jacksonville for over 35 years, I’ve been to many Chinese restaurants and I’ve even told the lady at the counter this today that this is the best Chinese in Jacksonville, shoot probably the best in Florida.Try their chicken lo-mein, trust me been here 3 times and we clear the large no problem.Typical Chinese places I can only do half and be full and regretted buying it.Well not here!The lady is super nice and she hooked us up with extra cream cheese wonton just being nice and telling her this is the best!I know how critical reviews are and wanted to make sure you see this!

Their food is pretty good. Unfortunately, I think they're extremely greedy. I don't like pork fried rice as far as pork being in it. I like fried rice and I prefer not to have the pork in it. So I usually just say vegetable fried rice because there's usually already have carrots, peas, and onions in it. They charge $2 more to have vegetable fried rice. I've never experienced that in any Chinese restaurant. It's usually no big deal. They just leave out the pork. Plus; for the amount of vegetables that they're adding It's absolutely ridiculous to charge two dollars. It's not a lot at all, and it's actually not really necessary to even add more. They're adding things that aren't normally in Fried Rice. I've considered not returning there because they're really greedy. The portion size is really small. Also, they had a little girl ringing up orders. One afternoon, with 3 of my children, we went there, and the little girl got their order wrong. We didn't discover it until we were at our destination. I was gonna call and say something, but my son said just leave it alone. I just want to eat and be done with it. The positive thing that came from that was he said it wasn't overloaded with onions, which he doesn't like. So the last time I went there, I expressed to the lady what had happened, not expecting to get anything Exceptat an apology or an acknowledgment, to what I said. And she just stared off into nowhere and I found that to be a big turn off and very rude. You would think she'd wanna know that the child had ordered food wrong? Perhaps she shouldn't have a child taking orders to begin with. Also, every single time, I get food there. They don't provide forks. So it's a good thing I keep them in my car. If somebody has a to go order, they really should provide a fork or a spoon. Like I said, from the beginning. Their food is pretty good; however, their hospitality and their professionalism are lacking. Not to mention their greedy just saying. I understand that we're in a weird time in history where things are overpriced. Seriously, because someone doesn't want pork in their fried rice , and they prefer just fried rice and charging two dollars more for barely a the 1/8 c of vegetables if even that many.

I don’t know why I haven’t tried this place sooner, but this was my 2nd order both times service and food was outstanding! Steamed Dumplings and the sauce they give you with them - AMAZING! In fact, everything we ordered was delicious- full of flavor and fresh quality ingredients .We had a large order that was ready to go when we got there and they still gave us a free order of fried cream cheese wonton. Definitely a hidden gem, for which, I am happy to have found!

This is our go to Chinese restaurant. The owner itself is very friendly! Our favorite is steamed dumplings, shrimp with broccoli , chicken with string beans, lomien and many more. sometimes I get complicated with my order and they still managed to accommodate my order. I am so happy that Green lake is close to us and we do not need to drive far for a good Chinese meal!

Of all the counter service Chinese food in the Jacksonville area this is one of the best. Their fried rice puts all others to shame. Love the combos, the wontons, and the lo mein. We always do a to go, they even remember our name, or maybe have caller ID, anyway GO HERE.

Used to love coming to get the hot and sour soup anytime I was sick. They raised the prices for the soup from $5 to $8 for a large which is absolutely ridiculous. The soup used to also be filled with ingredients, now its mainly just liquid with 10% solid ingredients. Sorry but I will not be supporting this scam behavior.

Very disappointed, although the food is always good, the lunch specials used to come with an egg roll and drink and were lower priced. Now I pay $9.50 for the smaller portion and the meal that isn't a meal anymore, only the chicken and rice, very disappointing.
