We have eaten at this Green Papaya before and it has always been good. However, we ordered the pad Thai and beef fried rice through Uber Eats. It arrived in black plastic containers. We took the food out of the containers (which was still hot) & when all three of us began to eat the food, we had to stop. The food tasted like burnt plastic. It was so strong, we could not eat it & through it away. We recommend Green Papaya but not take out if they are going to continue to use plastic.

We’ve eaten at this restaurant multiple times since it’s October 2025 opening. Every entree has been delicious and expertly prepared. The wait staff is very professional & helpful with the variety of dishes. A must try if you’re in the area.

An unexpectedly pleasant experience. Our host/waitress made our night with simple, knowledgeable and friendly service without being invasive or pushy. We didn't have a long wait and our food was delicious, especially for the cost. The only downside I think would be the relatively small dining room.

Came to eat here on Christmas, and so glad we did I originally wanted sushi and then realized this location doesn’t serve it 🥲 but it’s ok bc what me and my SO got was amazing! If you’re a duck person you know it can be a hit or miss @ places but the yellow duck 🦆 AMAZING!!!! & we got the shrimp Pai Thai also great ! The Crab Rangoon 🦀 was unlike any other I’ve had 🔥 Thank you for a great Christmas dinner ❤️💚

Breaking down meal in 3 categories. Sauce was very good a 5, noodles not the authentic extra-wide a 7, chicken barely any present in the dish a 1. $15 total for saucy noodles. Also, an Asian restaurant with no pork?

Didn’t even get to take a pic of my food last night. The customer service was horrible and they didn’t even sing happy birthday to my daughter like they said they would. They completely ignored us and then assumed we was all on one ticket instead of asking.

Green Papaya in Jacksonville is absolutely fantastic! The appetizers were excellent, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. The service was great — everyone was friendly, welcoming, and created a super cool, relaxed atmosphere.

Our food came out pretty fast, which was a huge plus, and everything we tried was delicious. The Thai tea was amazing and easily one of the best I’ve had — I’d highly recommend it.

Overall, this place checks all the boxes. I’ll definitely be going back and would 100% recommend Green Papaya to anyone looking for great food and a great experience.
