The remodel looks amazing!! And the food was delicious. The lamb kabobs were so juicy and tender. I was surprised how flavorful the side of vegetables was. Our server was exceptional and we talked about her family and how long they’ve been serving our community. Great family business

Absolutely horrible service. Woman behind counter needs to learn how to handle literally any sort of human interaction. Made a comment about the slow service and the woman blew up. I would not recommend shopping here. Store looks extremely dingy also. Food did not look fresh and smelled bad.

Incredible spot! The food is so fresh and everyone is so welcoming. The grocery part has so many excellent staples. I hope to make this a weekly stop at the least, and if you're looking for an authentic spot with fantastic flavors and true family feel, this is that place!

I WAS a long time patron of Hala’s, starting when they were located in Regency Square Blvd. I’d always favored their grilled chicken with onions and mushrooms platter with rice and salad. They’ve recently reopened in their University Blvd location and l anxiously awaited to have my favorite lunch. I called in the order for me and my coworker and picked it up. I was in disbelief when I opened the container to find the rice in clumps and the dry chicken, onions, and mushrooms burned with the acrid smell and taste. I picked through what l could eat and threw the majority in the trash. Not to mention they increased their price for the dish over $4.00. Needless to say, they won’t see me at that location again.

I had the spanakopita, one meat and one spinach paired with hummus and Greek salad and it was phenomenal. I wish there was still crumbs left so I could have some more! The food tasted super fresh and clean. The inside of the market/restaurant also was very clean and smelled great. I recommend anyone near this restaurant to try it out IMMEDIATELY. I will be back again very soon.

A staple in the area. Glad to see them back up and running. Excellent imported products and the food is second to none in town.

This is a great market with most of the staples one would look for in a Middle Eastern market.
The food is top notch, very tasty and feels like it was made in someone's kitchen (in the best way possible). Super fresh! The lamb shawarma was amazing! It was super tender and paired well with basmati rice and cucumber salad.
Ok now the baklava. I almost don't want to say how good this stuff is, seriously. They make tons of it and it's sold by the piece, sheet, half sheet, quarter sheet. Best baklava I've had. I mean, no not good don't do it 😉

Food and dessert was amazing! The staff are friendly and helpful. They are making their temporary space work the best the can, considering it is 1/5 of the space of their original store! Like a flower growing through the concrete…this business has my support! 😊
