You need to arrive 30 minutes early or by 830 or they will tell you the kitchen is closed. Happened to us twice.

Their taco salad with fried shimp is 5 star great.

Their restaurant hours are 1 star. Cut me a break, they close the kitchen at 8:30... how hee haw Jethro Bodeen is that.

They recently removed themselves from all online ordering apps and force you to use their own which has a delivery fee which is double the cost of the apps. Was offered a discount code I could only use if I ordered a lot of food. I’m done. No longer ordering from Hightide.

Picnic tables outside are not accessible for people in wheelchairs. You can’t sit at the end of the table either because legs won’t fit underneath the table.

I just left The Loop, but the bright vibrant colors & music brought me in.

I wasnt hungry but the menu made me reconsider that. Several items got my attention, altho I settled on the apple chimichanga. I asked the bartender if she had tried it before & she said no, but she was wanting to share half with someone as it was really big. Well It was just as big as she said it would be. I ate my half & boxed the other half for her.

The patio area seemed to be where all the action was with most everyone sitting outside. If I come back with a few people, maybe we will sit out there. I always sit at the bar as I enjoy casual conversations with the bartenders & managers.

The fact that this place has any 1 star reviews is honestly crazy to me. This is BY FAR my favorite Tex mex restaurant. I live 40 minutes away and still make the drive and would in a heartbeat if it was ever suggested by someone. Every single time i go the service is always great and the food is just incredible. I personally really love the ambiance of the indoor and outdoor and how they are connected. I feel like I’ve gone during different types of weather and never been affected by it. Please don’t let these 1 starts steer you away. Just give it a chance for yourself and you will see!! 15/10

Walk in few people here . The host greeted us you can sit anywhere. Great service tacos were good try there sauce . I'm from Tampa visiting with my son he liked it too . If I come visit Jacksonville I will come again . Thank you guys .

This was a really nice restaurant. We found it by accident. It was my daughter's 40th birthday. Our waitress was wonderful. The food was good but I will say the portions were small for the price..but it was nice sitting outside and the food was good just know that the appetizer I can't remember the name of it, but it was the meat on top of the french fries. It is a very very small portion for $16
