We got the daily special of a slice and a drink, and ordered a deep dish pepperoni Chicago pizza to go! We thought we would eat it the next day, but it was gone that night! This is what the midwestern people have been looking for! I've been in Jax for 17yrs, grew up in Ohio and haven't had any pizza down here that even gets close to hometown midwestern pizza but this is the place. We did the thin pizza and it was everything I ha e been craving and everything I had hoped for.

I was so hoping this was my new deep dish pizza spot but it failed on so many levels. After the expected long wait, as it's a deep dish pizza, the vegetables were so raw they crunched. I was starving, so we ate, paid, and left. Great service. Someone needs to figure out that crust because that is not anything like I have had before on a deep dish.

First time in, also first time having a deep dish and we officially can say we’ve tried it and not a fan. BUT the taste of the sauce was delicious. The crust was also very good. If you are deep dish pizza person, I’d say this is your place. Will definitely be back for their thin crust to give it another try. The pretzel was ok. The beer cheese wasn’t that great and even if we weren’t comparing it to Jacksonville’s Moon Dogs beer cheese, it was still disappointing.

We are originally from Chicago and we have been searching for “REAL” pizza!! The crust is crispy and buttery. The sauce is robust with great flavors! We tried a beef too, and that did not disappoint us either! We will be back once we are up this way again .. sooner than later no doubt!

Finally found a great pizza in St. Augustine! Ordered the datil, honey, goat cheese thin crust and the pepperoni deep dish. Very impressed with both, will be back!
Chicago deep dish pizza is a favorite of mine, and I've gone through plenty of moments of withdrawals. So when I found out, Chicago native Hillary was making pizzas in Jacksonville. I knew I just had to give her a try. She did not disappoint. Hillary and her husband are very sweet and accommodating people. I first came across them at the Fernandina Beach Farmer's Market, where they were selling individual pies. That particular day, they'd run out, but gave me a car and told me to contact them, and they would make me a pizza.I ordered a pepperoni deep dish, and this thing did not disappoint. It had that nice buttery cornmeal crust, and they did not skimp on the filling at all. And it was also easy to reheat, which was a plus. Although not quite that Chicago taste that I wanted, it was definitely an 8/10 and I would for sure order again. Happy to see they have now opened an actual restaurant. I will visit sometime soon.i wish them all the success in the world.

Love this place! Really feels like a friendly, fun neighborhood spot. Bartenders are always helpful with beer recommendations. We love the thin crust style pizza. They host a lot of fun events, including ones for a local animal rescue that we are involved with. Great place!!

Absolutely phenomenal cozy little place! the atmosphere is very warm and inviting :) Bruce and his wife are just wonderful, down to earth people :) we started off with the pretzel and beer cheese, my gf and I aren’t really beer cheese people, but this beer cheese is the exception! Insanely delicious! The tavern pizza is really good too!! But the star of the show is the deep dish!! Better than carmines in Jax! The crunch…ohh the crunch of the crust has my mouth watering even after eating it tonight, the best crust I’ve ever had on a pizza!! The strawberry cheesecake is good too! Love this place! Definitely coming back soon!!
