Chicken and steak hibachi are amazing! We also got 3 sushi rolls that were great, and filling. The service was excellent. We will for sure be coming back

The restaurant is small and quiet. Don't confuse quiet with lack of business. There are constantly fun tables, and people around, but the size of the location makes it feel very personal.

The waitress we've had both times we've gone was very attentive and professional. Never made a mistake on the order, and was informative when we had questions.

The owner came up to us the 2nd time we went recognizing us from a couple weeks earlier. Introducing himself and asking how we were enjoying the food.

Which brings me to the food. The portions are small, but the price is reflective. Other places that server larger portions also charge more. So the cost isn't an issue. Neither is the quality of the food. My wife and I like to get 2 sushi's to share and a hibachi each. Everything is always prepared exactly as we've asked for it, and tastes amazing!

We will definitely be returning there again!

The owner and sushi chef works behind the bar. I had the lunch special. It was exactly what I wanted after living in Japan for several years. Good clean fresh simple sashimi and nigiri. Not all the over priced hype sushi that other places serve. If you want real sushi with a very friendly staff then dine here. This place is a hidden gem! Oh and this place has all your cooked standard Japanese meals.

Absolutely incredible. My new go to. All the food was mouth watering, the service top tier, friendly, attentive staffing. The enviroment is clean and I would absolutely recommend this to anyone in my family and friends without a doubt. Dont stress choosing something else to eat, this is the spot.

Fantastic dinner here for my sons bday. Had a last minute Reservation and table was ready. They sang happy birthday and had cake with a candle. Amazing service. Great food - sushi and hibachi. We didn’t know it was also karaoke night - and had such an amazing time. So much fun. Owner is wonderful. Will be back!! Thank you so much!!

This is the real deal. Delicious, authentic food and cozy atmosphere. Everything was clean and fresh and a lovely experience. I had gyu don and the meat was nice and tender with excellent flavor that seeped into the rice below it.

After being stationed in Yokosuka Japan for almost 7 years. And living on the economy and not on the ship and going to school to learn Japanese language in 1980’s. I think I can say with my hand on my heart, “This is authentic Food, Service and atmosphere. I can’t wait to return, I over ordered food. Because when I saw the menu and service, it brought me back to the 80’s. I even ordered in my rusty Japanese and the folks were so happy to hear that I spoke Japanese.
