Hot Pot & BBQ Jax

This was my first ever Hot Pot experience. Our server was very nice and explained everything I needed to do and know. The food was amazing and fresh from the meats to the noodles and veggies. I love the moving bowl system. That was super cool. They cleared our table regularly of emptied plates/bowls and filled our drinks often. The restaurant was very clean and smelled good even with all the fresh seafood of display (If you don't like the smell of heavy seafood this will work for you.). This including there bathrooms. Overall this was a great find and experience. Highly recommend you try this place.

Amazing! Our favorite!
We’ve been going for many many years to this KBBQ/Hot pot spot, even with all the competition in Jacksonville, nothing compares to this place. ZOE has taken care of us many of the times we’ve been to Hot Pot, and Today she went above and beyond for the first time we brought our 3 year old(3 year olds eat free!). She made sure he had fun and ate his food and he even got ice cream with her. She takes her time to ensure her customers are well taken care of every single time, even when the restaurant is super busy. Everyone has always been friendly, the place is well maintained, and food is always fresh and amazing, with so many delicious options. We come at least every 2 weeks for a date night, it’s the only place we know will never disappoint us. If I could give them 10 stars I would. 5 stars for Hot pot and 5 stars for Zoe ! Recommend this place to everyone!

Excellent food. We had a great experience here tonight. This is the third Hot Pot place that we have been to and it was the best by far. Highly recommended. The only thing that I didn't like was that the floor was greasy and not a good match for tennis shoes.

Helen was awesome! Took my kiddo here for a 13th birthday experience. It did not disappoint, but we would have been clueless if Helen hadn't helped out. Thanks for everything ♡

My party of 3 arrived at midnight, we were aware that The restaurant closed at 1 am. Upon entering we were informed by the host that they closed at 1am and last call was 12:30-12:40 am. At 12:04 am the noodles and vegetables were being removed from the line, due to this one of our party members was unable to get any noodles or vegetables. Once we finally had our food at 12:25 am we were informed we need to get meat and seafood now as they were cleaning the buffet. I understand the restaurant closes at 1am but why were your employees cleaning up and removing items before the 12:30-12:40 am last call time we were given? Then at 12:45 am we were brought our check and told we could finish up eating and remind again they closed at 1. At 1:03 am the host came to the table and informed us they were closed and we needed to leave. At this point the patrons they let in after us are being offered to go boxes. We were not offered to go boxes and were forced to leave with food still cooking as the host said we had to leave right then. I have worked in the restaurant industry and I have never worked in a restaurant before that physically forces customers out especially after telling them their is no problem they can contuine to eat they just need to pay the bill so the restaurant can close the register out. If you close at 1 am and begin cleaning up at 12:30 am you shouldn't be making patrons pay full price for an experience they arent getting, or you should stop accepting patrons at midnight instead of rushing and pushing your customers to leave in the middle of their dining experience. For almost $40 a person this was an extremely disappointing experience and we will not be returning.

We tried Hot Pot & BBQ Jax for the first time tonight celebrating my husband’s birthday. The wait time wasn’t long, our server Linda was helpful and accommodating. We food was wonderful! We will be back again soon.

Great choice of an all-you-can-eat hot pot buffet. All food we tried was fresh and tasty. They have a good variety of proteins, including seafood such as crab, octopus and scallops. Our server Linda was very welcoming and helpful, even though the place was full.

This was our first time trying Korean BBQ. We found this place on Tik tok and drove from Brunswick, GA. Linda was our server!! She was great. Made us some really good sauce and continued to check in with us. Even told us about the other locations. We will be returning with empty bellies 😂

Great Food, Great Service! Ask for Linda! She is EXCELLENT!!!

I had an amazing time with Linda as our server. She constantly was checking up on us and making sure we were taken care of. She made us her special sauce so we can try it with our shrimp, as well as assisted us when we felt a bit lost in the cooking process. At the end she presented us with her cultural Chinese Bread, warmed up and ready to be ate with ice cream. Wonderful!
