The restaurant is clean and charming, with friendly and efficient service. Prices are reasonable, making it an accessible option. However, the food was just okay. We ordered the chicken and broccoli, but the chicken was bland, and the sauce had an unusual jelly like consistency.

Save your money and do not go here! The rice was hard and the food was not seasoned at all! The curry chicken literally had no color to it which was a red flag. Upon tasting the food, it tasted like water. On top of this, the vegetable fried rice and Chow Mei Fun had sauce which also had no taste. I will not be returning. We should have read the reviews.

This place has horrible customer service, and food. I tried this place twice. The first time they gave me old hard house fried rice, and old chicken wings. I charged it as an off night, so against my better judgement I gave them a second try. Upon my second visit the lady at the counter got my order wrong and when I tried to tell her my order was wrong she began to scream at me, at first I thought it was her accent of a high pitch tone, but no she was actually arguing with me” Saying You did order this”, it was so bad. A customer had to tell her you don’t talk to “men that way” they don’t like it. This place is not worth it.. I asked for my money back and left.

Ordered my food on DoorDash when it got here over half of it was missing. When I called to talk about it, the lady immediately started accusing me of lying saying I didn’t know what I was talking about and would not even let me have a chance to explain. Then, after a few minutes of trying to get it figured out, she hung up on me and told me call DoorDash. She was very rude and very unpleasant for no reason at all they care about their customers or their customer experiences.

I just picked up an order from Hot Wok and was very disappointed. Please, if you trying to decide if you should order from them, do not. My rice was hard, the broccoli taste as if it had not been cleaned. The overall flavor of Chinese food was not there, it was not flavorful.
This was the first time that I ordered from Hot Wok. Great customer service
However, the food was not good. We ordered three different items, and neither were good.

I was a regular customer who ordered from here maybe twice a week because I enjoyed the food. But on a particular night they couldn't get my order right on the phone. I was not happy and cancelled my order. I have to wait 3 to 5 days to get my refund. All I have to say is they have lost a good customer.

I ordered the pu pu platter, all items was not in my order, and very overcooked to the point of burnt. Was told because I took one bite of the food, it had to be untouched for replacement or money back. I had no problem returning the burnt food, I wanted a replacement but because one bite was taken I was now out my food and my 20.00. I will never be back and will make sure everyone I know, knows of the customer and food treatment.

We ordered delivery. It was amazing! The Hot & Sour Soup was exactly that … Hot AND Sour. So yummy. We asked for the chicken fried rice with vegetables and eggs. It was loaded. Everything was great! We will order again.

Dietary restrictions: Low sodium tasting meals when asked. Along with other dishes were low sodium tasting as well.

I usually go to the one on 103rd. This time I went to the one on Argyle. I always order the boneless spare ribs. The lady gave me chicken and broccoli. When I told her this isn't what I ordered she then wanted to argue with me. Never again.

Food was not fresh very old and hard. The fried wontons had no cheese in them at all. The pork lomein was way over seasoned, very disappointed on the quality of food. Never again. This was at 12:30 pm during lunch, which you would think would be fresh. You have been warned.

Items missing from takeout and could not resolve because of lack of English language skills.. it’s bad enough they raise their prices over 40% in the last two years now they’re starting to not give you all your food on
