Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs

Pizza cust was not done toppings were scarce, cheese was see thru. It may have been cleaner in the lobby buy the service was worse and the pizza was blah. Not a fan of the new ownership. Sorry and it looks like they are making up reviews I never gave them anything higher than a Star rating.

Id like to know if the pizza is good but I prolly never will. I live 4.5 miles from your location but apparently yall dont deliver here. Oh well, back to dominos it is.

I tried to place an online order at 8:45 as website states they close at 11pm on Friday. I received an error stating cannot place order. When I called the young lady/man? stated they were about to close shop in 15 minutes so if I can be there by then they can make it but if not my pizza will be sitting on the oven until tomorrow. I asked if they would at least honor the online code and she stated no this is now the 2nd time this place has closed prior to business hours. Very unprofessional and rude.

I recently had a very unsettling experience at this Hungry Howie's location. I attempted to order a large pepperoni pizza over the phone. I was initially quoted a price of $19 and change. Knowing that seemed high, I checked the Hungry Howie's website and found the same pizza listed for $13 and change. When I called back to point out the discrepancy, the cashier seemed noticeably unhappy. While she told me to order online for a lower price, she informed me that she'd have to cancel the original order and re-ring it. This already made me uneasy.

Despite my reservations, I decided to proceed with the order. Upon arriving at the store, the cashier was friendly and explained that she was new. We had a pleasant, brief conversation. However, the employee who brought my pizza from the oven seemed less than pleased. He stared at me in a way that made me uncomfortable, and an unsettling thought crossed my mind: had he done something to the pizza? I tried to dismiss the thought, even leaving a tip as a gesture of goodwill.

Unfortunately, my concerns were validated when I opened the pizza box. The quality and taste were noticeably off. I began to worry that something had been done to the pizza, a thought I hate to even entertain. Even more concerning, both my wife and I experienced upset stomachs after eating the pizza.

I've always enjoyed Hungry Howie's and was told this is a corporate store, but this experience was far below their usual standards. I would absolutely not recommend this location to anyone. I hope they can address these issues and improve their service and food quality in the future. Until then, save your time and money and go elsewhere.

We paid almost $28 for one pizza, and it was burnt and hardly had any toppings on it.
Very, very disappointing for how much we paid!

Just embarrassing service. Never right food.

Over the one hour I observed at least three orders burnt to need a remake, and two orders returned by customers returning in their cars.

Manager asks "what was your order? I gotta go check if it got burnt."

"Jeez, you guys stuff it in a cyber truck? It's burnt so bad you don't know the toppings to look for?"
YES.

It must truly be hard to find good help these days.
Mercy to the manager, he seems to try genuinely. The cook in the hoodie has gotta go.

The heavyset guy that worked this evening 12/23/24 8:34pm was not pleasant at all. He was rude. He made the error on my order and when I informed him he didn't apologize or nothing and just went to the back and started slamming things. Then said wait 6 minutes.
Just plain one rude.

Every time I’ve had Hungry Howies it’s been great. But this location always comes up short. I had a Sub/calzone and I picked it up and all the ingredients fell out. The amount of oil and grease at this location is literal poison to the body. Go to the one in Yulee or north side. Nice people though

Great experience! The woman on the phone was very knowledgeable and extremely nice and patient while I ordered. Been craving Cajun bread for the longest time and it definitely lived up to my expectations. Thanks hungry Howies, you guys are amazing!

Deal said 3 large pizzas if ordered online for $20.99, which I did. Billed me $46 dollars. Garbage can review. Highly do not recommend due to false advertising and the woman working there said the deal was only for online. Make it make sense.
