I love Hungry Howie. First time I had it was in Tampa. So i decided to try it back at home in Jacksonville. My first order made me question if i selected a flavored crust. Did not taste no where near to what i had in Tampa. 2nd time i ordered it again and realized whoever makes the pizza there is lazy to add my flavored crust. Soooo disappointed in this hungry howie place. Will try a different place in Jacksonville

I ordered online.. when I arrived the order wasn't right. While I was sitting waiting on my order .. another 15 minutes... The manager was steady talking about me .. the customer.. while in the back. Totally disrespectful and unprofessional.

Paid $22 for an $11 pizza that was COVERED IN ANTS! Backstory: My son loves Howie’s pizza and we’ve ordered from them quite a few times, however, the service is horrible. Recently, I ordered a pizza to be delivered through their site. After not receiving the order for over 2 hours, I was going to head to the store. When I opened my door I saw a pizza sitting on the ground. I picked up the box and it was filled with ants and cold. The pizza had been sitting outside for sometime. I headed to the store to discuss the manner and encountered Meagan, supposedly a manager. Megan was rude and extremely unprofessional. She told me to take it up with door dash even tho I ordered through them and paid THEM a $6.99 delivery charge. I don’t have a DoorDash account as I’ve never used DoorDash. I can’t file a complaint without logging into DoorDash. Howie’s pizza has an affiliation with them. Megan was extremely dismissive and did not try to help with a resolution at all. Prior to this incident I’ve gone into the store, stood at the front and had been completely ignored by the staff for 15+mins. No greeting. No “we’ll be with you in a moment” ..nothing. Acted as if I wasn’t there at all. The ONLY reason I continued to order was because my little boy loved their pizza for some reason. Pizza was not good and place is dirty and workers look unsanitary. We just ordered and prayed over the food smh. Not anymore, never coming back.

I filed a complaint with corporate, they have yet to respond to me. The store just took my money and never issued a refund. They commented on my review as a performative act, they have no intention of rectifying the issue. Order at your own risk. Customer service is HORRIBLE!

Pulled up to this location at 9:30pm and was turned away! I was told they were closed when google shows a closure time of 11pm! Thanks for nothing!

Wow, I can't believe we wasted $80.00 on pizza for delivery only to receive an incomplete order! DoorDash blames the restaurant, the restaurant manager blames DoorDash. I specifically ordered from the restaurant, not DoorDash. I never chose DoorDash or placed an order through them! Terrible management, terrible customer service. No wonder people avoid your establishment!

I've been eating Hungry Howie's since 2005! I was a student at First Coast High school and at the end of school they sold slices for a $1, some of the students would bypass lunch for days (using lunch money for the cafe) just to buy a few slices! Best pizza Hand Downs! Also the wings with the 3x option...My Goodness 🤌🏾🤌🏾🤌🏾. I put my daughter on and she's hooked! I just wish there was one closer but it's worth the ride lol
