We had an awesome experience at Indochine. We tried the Thai Beef Flank the flavor was good, but just know it’s more of a stew-style beef. The Chicken Satay was excellent and the Nigori sake was amazing.

The ambience really makes the place. You walk up to the second floor and the décor is super well done tight, warm, and feels authentically Asian. Really cool vibe overall.

We’ll definitely be back!

Anthony was our server! He was phenomenal! We came in about an hour and 15 before close and he went above and beyond to make sure our meals were good even going as far as to box them up for us! Went with a friend of mine and we both work food service and were honestly so astounded by the level of hospitality provided! Thank you again <3

We enjoyed our meals at Indochine. The service was wonderful. Food was perfectly spiced and tons of meat (more than usual for sure). Parking was a pain. Indochine does not validate, even though the sign says they do.

We used to LOVE Indochine. But our last two experiences were terrible. The first…it was blazing hot inside (there’s no AC) and the water was served with no ice. We ordered champagne which also came out warm. When we told the server, he sassed us and said he’d pulled it from the refrigerator himself. It was so warm there was no condensation on the glass which it should have had given the warmth of the room. We sent it back. The server offered no apologies and we were miserable. The second… same server called my wife “sir” and upon realizing his mistake again offered no apologies and sassily called her ma’am the next time he spoke to her.

To be fair, the food is delicious, but it’s not good enough to be hot, not allowed cold beverages and to be disrespected.

Every year we come here for our birthday. My husband and I share the same month & date for our birthday and for years we’ve been coming here. We enjoy the service and food. So I made a reservation and on 10/19/25 we arrive. We have never had a problem until this year on my birthday. It was 5pm this raining Sunday and the restaurant just opened. We walked up the steps and was greeted by girl who looked like she didn’t want to be there. I smiled and said I had a reservation and asked to sit by the booth where we always sat. She said, “no, that table is for 6 people.” I looked at my husband and my husband said, “that’s alright honey we can sit here.” And again the girl said, “no, that table is for four.” I was very disappointed as she told us we can sit in the table for two that looked crammed, too small for us, as we order drinks, appetizers and entrees. The table would be too crowded. So I was upset and looked around the restaurant aand only one other couple were there in this heavy rainy Sunday evening. We sat down and my husband said, “what is wrong darling? Why are you sad?” I explained about how the table is too small and how I liked sitting at the booth every year. He told me that this waitress doesn’t want us to sit there or even by the table of four. And then he asked, “ what would you like, dear?” I told him let’s go. And we left. The girl didn’t say a word to us as she saw us walk out the door. I’m not sure we’ll ever be back. It was very disappointing.

Pretty bland yellow curry. On Google, they advertised sushi, but there was no sushi on Thursday. Service was amazing atmosphere is fantastic. If you are a foodie, the curry will be super bland for you. In all fairness, you can add HEAT in terms of spice, but that will not add flavor.

Placed a lunch order today. Have been eating here for alot of years. I walk four blocks to pick up my order. I order one type of soup, I recieve another. It's correct on my receipt, and the order is tied up so I don't check. What if I had a food allergy, for instance to coconut milk and didn't know the soup I received wasn't the soup I ordered?

The gentleman host was very polite, so those 5 stars are for him. The 1 star is for whomever is putting the orders together. You should be more mindful and attentive.

Money is being spent and time is being used.

Do and be better.

I enjoyed sitting at the bar and the food surpassed expectations. It's not all traditional but tailored to most people tastes. I liked it so much I ordered some for delivery a few days later. They left out the soup in the entree kha mon kai and the chicken for both this dish and the appetizer was burnt. This speaks only to the integrity of the restaurant. They clearly, at least to me believe they can get away with servicing people of the jax area that don't know what exactly should be included and giving burnt food to people they'll never meet. But the food was still good even tho some was burnt.

4 stars because somehow this restaurant managed to burn chicken, and still make it taste good. Hot dog.
5 stars because, damnit this place is the best Thai I've had in ages. However they're not excluded from screwing you over like most restaurants do if you order delivery.

Cons
Just that, I was really looking forward to that soup that wasn't included.
No spice was included with meal I mean zero. I don't know how I can order 5f hot and there is -0- spice

First time here and it was a very calm and relaxing time to go for dinner at 8pm. Our waiters was very helpful and attentive. Cocktails, appetizers and entrees were very delicious and I plan on visiting again when in the area. It is located upstairs, but there is an elevator if you can't do the stairs and parking is difficult being in the downtown area but overall, a very good spot to eat and enjoy some good food.

Went to Indochine for dinner before a show last night. The walk up to the restaurant was picturesque with the walls painted and Asian artwork everywhere. This was nicely done. Once we arrived, the place was extremely warm due to the local heatwave. Restaurant had multiple fans and portable AC units, but the heat made one side of the restaurant unbearable to eat. Several customers asked to be seated on the cooler side of the restaurant due to the heat, plus the noise from the fans made it hard to talk with someone at the table. It was so hot, they had mini fans in the bathroom.

Our appetizers were the calamari and angel wing. The presentation was great, but the food came out lukewarm, not hot. For our entrees, my wife tried to order the black snapper, and I tried to order the Mee-Krob, but it wasn't available. The server wasn't aware, and after several back and forths to the kitchen, we finally landed on what we settled to order.

We ended up ordering Mixed Vegetables Tofu and Lad Naa. The food was very flavorful and seasoned well. The presentation was also spot on, however to food did not come out hot, only lukewarm. Our server was so overwhelmed with keeping customers cool that she kept us waiting longer than usual for refills and just attention to our table. Luckily, we got there early enough that the wait didn't hamper our ability to make it to our concert on time.

Overall, if you dine here, make sure you take into account the temperature outside, since the majority of the restaurant has a lot of square footage with brick that is hard to keep cool. The decor and taste of the food was great, only wish the food came out hot to our table. Location has limited on street parking so be prepared to park in the garage and/or walk to the restaurant. The restaurant is upstairs so I don't know if it's wheelchair accessible or not. I did not see an elevator or ramp access to get to the restaurant. They do offer carryout service.

If they tighten up a few things, this restaurant can be great, right now it's in the middle of the pack for me.

Lots of good vegan options, just make your server aware. Had mixed veggies & tofu. Very good. It’s more like a 3.5 stars. It’s good just not like the best of the best. Still always enjoyable and a fair vegan option in the area. Updated from previous review on 2025-06-28
