In our 12+ years of living in Jacksonville, this was easily one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had. The service was incredibly slow despite the restaurant not being busy. Our table had 4 adults and 1 child, and the food came out at different times, which made the meal frustrating. When the food finally arrived, the portions were shockingly tiny for the price. For example, the crab cakes were $24 — and what we got were two small cakes that could fit in the palm of a hand (see photo). Absolutely not worth it. On top of that, our total bill came to over $100, yet we all left hungry and unsatisfied. Even something as simple as water service was lacking — the waitress didn’t bring enough for the table, and we left both hungry and thirsty. Between the poor service, overpriced portions, and overall disappointment, we won’t be back. There are far better restaurants in Jacksonville where you’ll get real food, fair portions, and decent service. Save your money and skip this place.

This place is new and the atmosphere is very Afro eccentric and I love the vibe. Be patient with them as it’s just launching. The food is top tier. It’s very rare that you find a quaint intimate spot for brunch yet classy and jazzy. Check it out but bring your patience with you. In time they’ll be ready for Duval and it’s downtown traffic. Blessings

Katrina Keep it real

This was my second time visiting here, the first time they were not open but the business hours showed they were! The second time was actually when I was able to try the food.

The service was ok, I was on my break when I entered the restaurant and I proceeded to ask if they have crab cakes on the menu. The young lady had to ask the owner/cook who stated they usually don’t have during the week as it is offered on the weekends. I was ok with that and I wish I would have saved the $15.00 bucks! They stated they would be able to accommodate me so I took a chance. The wait was INSANE, it took over 20mins for the crab cakes.

It’s the food where I feel it lacked, the crab cakes tasted as if they were a mustard based crab cake, that had a very overpowering mustard taste. It did have lots of crab in it but it just tasted off to me. It comes with a mustard tasting sauce which was not my liking.

Based off these 2 visit one being they were closed during the times posted on google and the second time actually tasting the food, I won’t be back to visit. This is my opinion and you just have to try it out for yourself!

This was the cutest bistro bar in downtown town Jacksonville, Florida. Street parking available just outside and around the corner. Happy hour drink and food menu. Top shelf drinks that are so beautiful. Cozy atmosphere and excellent food. The servers were attentive and kind and the owner is THE BEST. Don’t miss this place when you are in Jax!

Super friendly staff, clean place, amazing food. My parents had the shrimp and grits and the meatloaf and they loved them. I am Vegan so I had side of fresh fruit and sauteed potatoes with onions and peppers. It was amazing! I highly recommend the place.

Found this place on google went around 7pm on Friday night. First thing was the inside had a bad sewer smell so we sit outside. second the drinks was horrible and they never try to remake or even give us a refund.Three my friend order fish and grits and when she asked for butter the kitchen said they didn’t have any how hell you running a restaurant with no butter.I would only give a shout out to new waitress she was cool.Other than that I won’t never be back.

Self Made

I went to the restaurant for a birthday brunch, and let me just say—the vibes were absolutely there! The place was clean, welcoming, and had a great atmosphere. I arrived a little late, but the moment I walked in, I was impressed.

I headed to the bar to order a drink (I always like to greet my bartender—lol). While I was there, the owner asked if I had ordered yet. I said no, and he offered me a dish that had just come out. It turned out to be the fish and grits—and wow, it was delicious! The fish was perfectly crispy and seasoned just right, and the grits were creamy and flavorful.

I give this place 5 stars and will definitely be back. Great job!
