Jacksonville Millhouse Steakhouse

The food was amazing and service was good... I didn't like how the manager spent most her time sitting at the bar with her husband. I feel she should be been more hands on especially with a 20 top in the dining room.

I've met friends at the bar for Munchies and cocktails. Drew is an attentive bartender. It can get busy. Food is decent. Haven't eaten in restaurant.

Well, it had food. Service was great which is why it got 2 stars.

The Gorgonzola Steak was amazing. Live music with Cassidy Lee was perfect. The bartenders are very good

Food was good and we had a pleasant time. First time caller and was a specific stop after JIA pick up.

My meatloaf sandwich was decent enough despite being a fairly small slab of meat and the sweet tea was good, but neither my sandwich or fries were hot. It may have just been because it was late and the kitchen staff were ready to leave, but I can't really recommend the place on this visit alone, especially for the high price I paid.

Please readjust the thermostat. It was hotter inside the restaurant and bar area than outside. Miserable experience.

It was ok, not what I expected, have eanen at other Millhouse Steakhouses and they were better. And the ac was not very good.

Burger was phenomenal. Not thrilled about much else there, service wasn't quite mediocre, nor was what I ordered. What will keep me coming back is exploring the burger menu!!

It is a steakhouse without the huge steakhouse price tag. I like steak as much as the next guy but I don't usually go out of my way for one nor to I really feel like paying 100 dollar for a steak. And this is definitely a place where you can get that done without breaking the bank.

My food was not cooked properly for the 4th time. A bone in Ribeye! The manager name Curtis came out agreed that the steak was over cooked, and said that he'll get me another one. He took the steak to the back and cut it on the opposite side from where I cut it in the middle (upon his request) saying that it was cooked medium in which it was not. He then proceeded to go word for word to the point that I said forget it, I don't want anything! Not to mention that he owed me from the day before when I ordered a take out and my food was over cooked. I've worked in the food service business in my past. The manager is horrible . And I will not be back. Reached out to the owner via email and to this day. I still have not heard a word from any one!

For years this has been our go-to restaurant. The food and service were always amazing, but not anymore. We have had the odd issue here and there such as lettuce not properly washed, so it was still sandy. Okay, we continued. The service slowed down a bit, but the food was still consistently good, we continued. The last visit was the wait was very slow to even get drinks, we asked for a manager only to be told they were unavailable but service was better from that moment on. Our regular dinner choices were not as great as the past, there was a large party so we let it slide. After several weeks of not going back, we decided to try again, nope, same bad experience. It was not busy, in fact there were 2 servers plus another staff member (maroon shirt) opening doors for people to leave, meanwhile we waited 12 minutes before our server even came to the table. Appetizer went in, came back very quickly, but coating was a bit soggy. Server went missing again and 20 min later we put in our dinner choices. Food came back quickly, but needed condiments, I got up to look for it myself. The food was okay, the kids portions were the same as adult versions and underwhelming. Its really sad because this used to be a great place.
