Jax Craft Beer a/k/a Smitty's Pub

I was introduced to this place recently and I love it. It is a hole-in-the-wall bar but a bit more upscale than some other places I’ve been to. They have a variety of beers as well as your regulars like Michelobe. I’ve had their burger and grilled cheese so far and it is great - a female chef cooks and she is awesome. The bartenders are good and try to make it a point to know and remember who you are. It’s a bit far from where I live but I’ll make the trip at least once a week to visit. It is a place that will become a regular place I frequent since I moved.

Sampled a few of the many brews. Great beer selection on tap and in cans. Staff was great. Pierogis were delicious. Pretzel and beer cheese were great. Will be back soon.

It's very friendly and sociable. We have been here only on Sundays (so far), and while there is a kitchen, on Sundays there is a food and beer share.

My wife and I went to The Tavern, where do I begin? The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. If you find yourself in Mandarin and don't go to the cavern you are missing out

Nice laid back place to grab a beer...or four. Atmosphere and service were excellent! They have 32 beers on tap and were happy to guide you to a beer you'll enjoy! We'll definitely be back.

We made it to The Cavern this week. The burger 🍔 did not disappoint!!! It was delicious, fresh and flavorful!! The fries 🍟 were on point!! and The brussel sprouts were a lovely side dish. My husband is a beer drinker but I am not. I do enjoy mead and cider. It’s hard to find mead on tap locally so I was jazzed. The bartender was a sweetie pie and the establishment had some great Halloween decor. We will be back!

Met the owner Gail yesterday! Super sweet personality, absolutely loves the community, and I'm excited to return every week with RockinItLocal 😊 Also tried drink #4 (strawberry magic cider) and it was SUPERB, highly recommend!

A friend & I had lunch here on Saturday. The food was great (one of the best burgers I've had), the beer cold, the owner very accommodating & the crowd was friendly. Before leaving my friend & I both sampled the sangria and agreed it's amazing. Needless to say, I'll be back & I encourage others to try this place. They have a pool table and games & seems very kid friendly.

Ms. Gale was absolutely amazing — warm, friendly, and incredibly professional. She made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was cozy, comfortable, and laid-back, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy ourselves. We’ll definitely be coming back to see her again!
