Jax Fish Fry

4 pieces of fried ship with 12 fries for 10.00 added oysters for 6.95 ...definitely not a place where you will get a bang for your buck, but the food was fresh and tasty Friendly staff as well. I ordered a handheld shrimp roll and added oysters only had 4 shrimp and 4 oysters. I definitely should have taken a picture..however the food was on fact delicious.

Bad environment and management. They make tantrum posts on social media then
delete any and all comments calling them out on their bad attitude as a business. People are allowed to have opinions, and if a business owner doesn’t know how to handle negative feedback then they should find another job. Fake positive energy. And the food doesn’t make up for it.

Terrible owners, have unreasonable expectations of employees

Amazing food!!!! Quick and friendly service. Just like a northern fish fry!

So we were very disappointed. We got the lobster roll and the no small shrimp roll.
First of all the rolls are potato hotdog rolls so that alone makes it small. The lobster roll was half the size of any picture in the place and did not have much flavor at all. The shrimp roll was just 5 breaded shrimp placed on a potato hotdog roll. no flavor at all no sauces nothing
the only decent thing is the fries and the place is clean but very cold and unwelcoming.
Will never come back we ate 30 mins ago and are already hungry again

The cod basket and shrimp I ordered was horrible. No seasoning, bland taste...definitely not work $20

Fish was high quality. Restaurant is very clean, service was great. The only thing stopping me from giving it a 5 star rating was the shrimp. I’d highly recommend using Mayport Shrimp. Other than that it was great.

The service was great the guy was attentive and friendly & food looked really good but when I tasted it…it was very bland the batter fell off shrimp the fry chips were too thick imo I didn’t have the heart to tell him to his face the food was lackluster but he could tell as he was very attentive. I wouldn’t go again.
