Can’t talk for the quality of seafood but the lady I talked to on the phone today was so rude, I asked a question she said she didn’t know then just hung up on me. I get that’s it’s Christmas Eve but don’t be a grinch.
Picked up Oysters on Saturday for a party and instantly i placed them on top of 20lbs of ice waiting in back of my truck. Not covered just packed in properly. When I opened the cooler 2 hrs later I could smell spoilage and I thought to myself ah a little smell is ok it’s likely the burlap bag. Well on closer inspection when prepping for a roast I could see multiple shells opened and the smell was getting worse. Many guest were put off and we barely ate a quarter bushel. Next day I fell ill and the smell was way worse and I was able to determine these oysters were past their prime and spoiling. I’ve had oysters multiple times from Jcs with no issues but this was just not acceptable. You have to do better at keeping oysters cold and fresh and inspecting them before serving to customers.
My go to spot for Garlic crab trays on the Westside. Prices are getting out of hand honestly.

Mom and pop type shop garlic blue crab is always on point
I stay two minutes away from this restaurant. I order from here all the time. I was charged 0.50 cents for tartar sauce. I’ve never been charged for a sauce. It should come with it. Won’t be back

They say they open at 930 I come here at lease 5 time they don’t open till 11 and it’s been every time

Being honest. The food tasted old. There's no way I would recommend this place or ever returning. Highly disappointed.

Very clean crabs prepared exactly as asked. Just a bit pricey for crab trays 24.99
Got a bushel and a half of oysters, they were fresh and kept cold. They even delivered them to my truck. Everyone enjoyed them. Will return for my next oyster roast. I will also say they beat prices at most places.
