Jenkins Quality Barbecue

I’m sorry I’m not here to hurt small business but I wasted $30 and I didn’t get to eat lunch. The ribs are drenched in sauce because they are dry as jerky and not seasoned. You don’t even see the pink ring of smoke . The sides were really gross and fries cold. I recommend at least just buying all Sam’s club sides. I was hopeful due to the smoke coming out of the chimney. I would be embarrassed to serve what I threw away. Honest review.

WOW!! Im not sure what I just paid for i guess they just used liquid smoke to smell up the corner air. The order of fries was drowned, submerged,suffocated in what they call mild sauce more like mustard and sweet baby rays mixture.Fries were un eatable.I ordered middle ribs thin cut thick cut... I don't know!! The ribs were burnt,dry,no meat on them and the three pieces of bread they gave me were stuck to the paper and together, because of the half of gallon of sweet barbecue sauce they poured on top of them.This place can't be for real.🤢🤮🤢!!

This place keeps declining... We really only eat here when we see smoke from the chimney. That way, we know the meat is "fresh." My mom wanted Jenkins ribs for her birthday today. We went while the chimney was going but low and behold, they tricked us. They gave us old, re-warmed meat. Sad to say, but I will just start driving further to get some quality meat from now on.

The food and this location are top-tier. I love their ribs sandwiches and the single serving could feed 2 people. Tip when ordering slabs and whole chicken ask for cause on the side so your bread won't get mushy. Parking can be a little difficult if they are packed but not too long they move quickly.

Hit and MISS, MORE MISSES THEN HITS, BUT LOVE THE SAUCE

Had a snack Pack soon as I open up my tray I smell like my chicken was burnt just the skin on top.
Lighten up on the barbecue sauce Don't drown the Ribs and chicken make sure the bread is not soggy.

After all the bragging I heard from family the 3 orders of ribs were hard.

I have to update my review to lower their service rating because last night I called and asked if they took phone orders and the lady intentionally hung up on me. She didn't respond to my question, just hung up. I was shocked. I get being busy or having a bad day but to run customers off is foolish. I buy for events every now and then and for myself often.

I called back and a man answered. He was pleasant and said no you have to do it online or come in. I thanked him and searched online because I didn't have time to order elsewhere.

I ordered 2 racks of ribs from the downtown shop. They were more moist than the one I usually get from the Northside shop so that was good. But I'm going to have to find a new go to place for BBQ. Northside was just too disrespectful. They need to hire better staff or train them better.

They been slacking for a while and to know they were temporarily shut down because of hygiene and rodent infestation and dropping ill never return.

The ribs are horrible. They look good but as I looked at the guy preparing them, he put them in the microwave which made the rubbery.
